We have various threads on Canada migration here on nairaland but I could not find any that relates to migrating to Canada via a closed work permit.
Closed work permits are usually for work permits tied to a particular company, i.e you are getting the work permit only for that role in the specified company.
I am currently in the last stage of the process which is awaiting work permit application decision from IRCC.

For me, LMIA was approved February. I applied for closed work permit March 29 2022.
Do we have people going through this process? Please share your timelines

Work permits for parent and visiting visa for infant.
Took 69days after biometrics instead of the proposed two weeks.

Did you do the whole process yourself after getting LMIA.

$170 for family biometric fee
$155 for work permit for principal applicant
$155 + $100 for spouse open work permit
$100 for infant visitor visa

No need for proof of fund.
Yes, I gathered the documents and applied myself, got help from immigration lawyer on what documents to include

Nice one, don't forget to transit to Permanent Residence, all you need is to work full time for 1 year or more and apply through the Canadian Experience Class route.

By now your application must be approved, cos my bio was 24th March and Mine was approved June 3rd. Sent my passport this week

Ok thanks for your response, one more question.. Does the positive Lmia guarantee visa? Or is there still any chances of visa denial?

its not technically a guarantee but of those with positive LMIA on the list where it's tracked (managed by indian applicants), all were positive since 2021 but your NOC determines how long it will take for approval. All the rejections were ICT (intra company transfer and LMIA exempt)

I did, was left with only undershort. The doc. kept saying "are you comfortable?" I was like check wetin you go check make I stand up.
