I have no pity for them including imole. He knew marly was a cult boss, went to work for him, understood their mode of operation and then decided to live, who does that. They already brought you to limelight, they would want to take you out of it to send a message. Ask those who tried to run from the army without approval. Ask those who tried to join ogboni and other occultic groups but later changed their mind how it ended for them. crestedaguiyi: This has to be one of the most intelligent post ever. Naira Marley is not the only music boss like this. There are others too who are not even musicians. Kudos to those like Don Jazzy and Olamide who don't force talents to belong or take oaths before signing them. I would have said Davido but almost all his crew are NBM. This is a baseless post... if u open ur own record label, buy house and car and put the documents in ur artiste name ... most of u just don't have sense ... If u are employed in a big company and they give u house and car , will it be in ur name or the company's name?? |

People are too emotional. I am not suprised. This is nothing new, most assets you see most artists flaunt are owned by the record label. Most artists own nothing except some percentage they get fom their performance. Their catalogs, youtube channels, image rights, name are all own by the record label.
