Chose your battles wisely, know when to negotiate and never be pushed to fight an adversary that can overwhelm you. No matter how many Russian soldiers that Ukraine kill/ capture or how many Russian tanks, planes and ships they destroy or seize, they will always remain at a disadvantaged point. The only positive exit out of this quagmire for both sides remains the negotiating table. Compromises must be made by both sides but this can only happen when Ukraine relizes that no matter the sanctions and economic pain that Russia is facing, the bulk of the suffering is faced by Ukrainians. Dialogue remains the only way out.

Be pro-truth rather than take sides emotionally. How has Putin humbled the West? The small arms the West gave to the Ukrainians has stalled the Russian advance. What would happen if they gave them advanced ones such as fighter jets or thousands of guided missiles. Guided missiles alone would use the long convoy of Russian military vehicles as target practice.

Putin's have barely covered 10% of the country. It's advancement is too slow. I had even been hoping Zelensky make peace with the bully Putin before he turns Ukraine into a bombed out wasteland before capturing it.

Alas, I was wrong! The advancement by the Russians is a disgrace. Barely 10% of the country. They are yet to even enter the heavily forested western Ukraine which will be a paradise for guerilla warfare.

Russia is still using weapons dating from the 1980s and some of their supplies date as far back as the 1970s. Also, "catastrophic corruption" as one news outlet put it within the Russian army has adversely affected it.

Military corruption in Nigeria saw to it that the army here was using second hand and outdated equipment. Arthur Eze who was given a contract to supply fighter helicopters bought cheap second-hand helis which packed up during an operation. Russia' corruption is just as bad.

Putin was expecting the easy victory he had in Ukraine in 2014 but he must be baffled at the slow and stalled advance. The Ukrainians are even recapturing towns and cities from the miserable Russians.

The sooner Putin gets to the negotiating table, the better it is for both sides. Russia can still leave Ukraine bombed out even if it does not conquer it. Zelensky should such destruction at all cost.

Meanwhile, the Russian people will be impoverished, even though most of the economic sanctions will eventually be lifted. Business and consumer confidence will be battered. Capital flight will be the order of the day.

The amount of aid from EU, NATO, US and UK in form of weapons, equipment, medical, food, intel etc. is at an absolute historical level never seen before with perhaps the lend/lease aggreements of WW2 as an exception. The world is litterally behind Ukraine.

NATO's policy with Ukraine has pretty much been to support as much as humanly possible in ways that don't drag NATO directly into the conflict.

Do you know how diesel is now? 560! I think it was 350 at the beginning of the year. If you think it does not affect you, think again.

Next, Ukraine has very fertile land. It is a European bread basket. It produces lots of food. Majority of the wheat imported into Nigeria which is used for making flour is from Ukraine. 86% of wheat used in Egypt is from Ukraine. Food prices are rising already. N100 bread is now N150. Puffpuff size has reduced.

Prices of food stuffs are rising fast globally. I saw a video on Tiktok where a white man in Europe cautioned his wife to use very little oil that's its now very expensive. Many reacted from all over over the world that they thought it was only in their country.

People are worried that the war could escalate. Russia may decide to use biological or chemical weapons or even a nuclear bomb! This could lead to world War 3! That's why everyone is jittery.

The killings going on in Nigeria can bother one but does not stop you from interests on global issues.

Also, the war in Russia and Ukraine may lead to the "Great Tribulation" has recorded in the Bible. We must therefore pay more than the usual attention to events around us (Read Matthew 16:1-3)
