APC made mistakes in the past concluded primaries especially due to the high-handed nature of Governors. That's the more reason why Lalong was a no-show in consideration for VP candidate. Yes he might be a Christian, but performance wise, leadership wise, his credentials wouldn't have stood up to scrutiny. My advise is for Asiwaju who is the presidential candidate to work closely with the National Chairman and quickly go round these states, especially Sokoto, Kebbi, Plateau & Bauchi to placate aggrieved members as the infighting there is dangerously going to affect performance in 2023. There is still time, but efforts should commence quickly. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Kaduna is being resolved. Kano is already resolved as those that wanted to leave have already left and this is same with Katsina. Problem states that remain due to internal party conflicts are actually Sokoto, kebbi, Plateau & Bauchi states. Also, I don't think your prediction is correct with regards to Benue & Nasarawa states. The APC candidate in Benue is very strong and much loved by his people. So thinking that people will reject him because APC is fielding Muslim-Muslim is a wrong line of thought. Nasarawa is firmly in AA Sule's hands as his performance in office speaks for itself. Adamawa is 50/50. If Ribadu drops his case and they align forces together with Bindow, Aishatu Binani has a very good chance. Gombe is going to be closely fought for between APC and PDP Saying that APC will lose Niger & Jigawa?? You must be really a joker. APC will firmly win Zamfara, Katsina, Kogi, Kano & Kaduna for both Governorship & Presidential. Edo is off-cycle so if APC wins the Presidential elections and presents a good candidate, they will win in Edo. Obaseki's performance is quite poor and even the PDP structure is not in his hands. I don't see APC winning any states in SS/SE. aninibinladen: 5 Likes |

mach7: Put your emotions aside, Benue APC have a strong governorship candidate yes but the elections are not holding at the same time. Most supporting the APC governorship candidate have made it clear they'll not be voting Tinubu. In addition going into 2023 a sitting Governor (Ortom) will be contesting in one of the senatorial zones, a former Governor and present senator (Suswam) will be contesting in another senatorial zone while the third zone will have Abba Moro with David Mark's full backing, all under PDP. This is the election holding with Presidential one. In Nasarawa AA Sule has performed but hasn't performed as much as Al Makura did yet in 2019 APC only managed to edge out PDP with 6000 votes even with Buhari on the ballot. Things have changed, APC's VP choice has alienated people in for instance Nassarawa Eggon, Akwanga, Obi, wamba, Awe, Keana etc. These are areas that voted APC in 2019 save for Nassarawa Eggon. Also keep in mind that the state has always voted PDP for Presidential excerpt in 2019. How you think Atiku a fulani from Adamawa is on the ballot against Tinubu a yoruba and you give Adamawa 50/50 is something I don't only find strange but amusing, clear you've not been to those parts. Kaduna remains 50/50 with advantage PDP. Of the 3 senatorial zones APC has already lost the Southern zone, they've always performed badly there and this time it will be worst. Both parties will battle the two remaining zones evenly. Buhari is not on the ballot, Markafi's influence will play out. Jigawa with Lamido's son on the ballot and Lamido himself exercising his influence I don't see what magic APC is going to perform. Do remember Buhari is not going to be on the ballot and the old war horses will play back their hands. The 2015 & 2019 mass following due to Buhari's then invicibility is no longer a factor. Except Kwakwanso will donate his vote to the APC, Kano remains a close one between APC, PDP and NNPP with the latter two having an edge. Put your emotions aside, nobody is going to shout sai Buhari in 2023. 16 Likes |

I am not arguing with emotions here. Benue election will be largely decided by the individual and not the party. Despite what you might think, APC will score at least 40% votes in Benue, just watch and see. The voting dynamics of 2023 will be quite surprising. Let's watch and see. As for Adamawa, Atiku was the presidential candidate of the PDP in 2019 and it was a close call. Actually APC will have won the Governorship in 2019, if not for Nyako who defected to another party (I think SDP) and carried his supporters with him. Forget sentiments of Nasarawa. Sule will scale through. Although I can't say for Presidential. Jigawa? Sule Lamido had always had influence but that won't take his son to Government house. Keep your fingers crossed. aninibinladen: 1 Like 1 Share |

mach7: Adamawa in 2019 had another Fulani man on the ballot and that fulani man had a cult following akin to a messiah. this is no longer the case and Nyako is back to PDP. My assertion on Nasarawa is not on the Guber polls but on the Presidential. Benue, there's a strong possibility the APC might carry the day in the guber polls but Presidential is a no no. Infact the APC will not come second in the presidential but a distant third. Sai Buhari dwarfed Lamido in the previous election, sai Tinubu will have no such effect. 3 Likes |
