This one is double renewed shege. They told us he is a first class technocrat, that he transformed Lagos to El Dorado and kept the economy growing even when Lagos funds were withheld. I am seeing the same lies and propaganda they told about Buhari, that he has integrity, corruption will be killed, insecurity will be a thing of the past, Buhari will neither touch any Nigerian Kobo or allow any of his family members or associates to do so,all proven to be total lies just 6 months into his doomed 8,wasted years presidency. Have we been sold another scam in Tinubu and if so,can Nigeria survive another disaster in the horizon? https://www.thecable.ng/naira-plummets-to-n860-at-parallel-market-as-dollar-demand-intensifies/amp 1 Like |

Our naira will be whortless soon. All my friends who are Tinubu supporters don change their whatsapp status update to "Pressure ti wa". But on a more serious notes, how sophisticated is it to continue to repeat the same mistakes over and over and over again? It's embarrassing and shameful 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Another fatal similarity to the monumental failure of Buhari:Buhari prepared and fought for the presidency for good 16 years, when he achieved it,he didn't have a single clue what to do. Tinubu has been praying, wishing and corrupting his way for the presidency since donkey years,at least as far back as when Ribadu was made the presidential candidate of the then ACN. He had been declared winner since February, had at least 3 months to concretize all the so called ideas and plans he has had for those years including documents on subsidy removal and abolishing of dual exchange rate. He removed subsidy in one fell swoop, then suddenly had no idea of what the effects would be and how to ameliorate the effect. What did a man with presidential ambition of donkey years do to ameliorate pains of fuel price increase?Borrow his predecessor clownish idea of paying ₦8k to some households for 6months,till someone reminded him it didn't make sense. Now he is in limbo, more excited travelling and welcoming all sorts of characters to Aso rock, including all his fellow foundation-of-corruption set of 1999 governors! 7 Likes 1 Share |

SpecialAdviser:It is said that only a foolish man makes the same mistake repeatedly and expects a different outcome. A mistake was made in 2015,accepted later to be a mistake by majority. But it was repeated in 2019,let's call it foolishness. But to repeat it in 2023 and expect a different outcome has gone beyond foolishness,it's now in the realm of mental insanity exhibited by not only those that voted him in,but those that rigged, the umpire and the judiciary if it doesn't correct the error before it becomes a cancer that is incurable. 5 Likes 1 Share |

I bought dollar @ 865 today. Propaganda does not necessarily translate to good governance. If you cannot reverse subsidy removal, please stop this nonsense floating naira policy. 5 Likes |

abhosts: I've been echoing this same sentiment on this platform since Bola Tinubu swiftly and unreasonably decided to float the naira right after subsidy removal. There are too many factors hampering what should be the positive essence of floating our currency and until you eliminate these factors considerably, this would continually be a bad idea. Reverse this nonsense FX liberalisation policy, take stringent means to eliminate the scourge that is the Bureau De Change system in Nigeria. The politicians who are the brains behind the BDC operations are holding the Nigerian economy to ransom. That on its own, is Nigeria's greatest challenge to the accessibility of FX by the masses and businessmen. But because the President himself is atop the echelon of FX hoarders, he can completely decide to feign blindness to it and opt to rather implement a policy that would leave detrimental effects on the masses. After all, we are a docile and scared populace that can swallow anything, with the hope that "tomorrow go better". 3 Likes |

abhosts:Same propaganda that Buhari was not corrupt, has integrity, destroyed maitatsine sect, etc. All proven to be what they were:lies and scams to help him defeat GEJ! Unfortunately the west, particularly America and UK bought into it and helped facilitate his win. Ditto, Tinubu is a technocrat, transformed Lagos(same small Lagos with slums,no pipe borne water, terrible roads, agberos everywhere and bribe seekers in every office, cultists running rampage,Omo Niles laws unto themselves,or is it another Lagos?) 1 Like |

The naira has continued its downward spiral, falling to N860 per dollar at the parallel market on Wednesday. The bolded shows that devaluing the exchange rate with the belief it will stop round-trip is not working. The reason being that the CBN is beginning to defend the naira. I ask again. What's the way forward? The silence from Aso Villa speaks loud to cluelessness than any other thing. 1 Like |

Kukutenla:I thought Buhari is the worst this country can get,not only was he clueless, incompetent and a first class bigot, but he lied his way to the presidency in terms of not being corrupt and possessing a certificate. I never believed any human being and even some animals can be as horrible as Buhari. I am now beginning to have doubts already that Buhari is the worst of them all with the way Tinubu has started and is presently nonchalantly going about things. I pray for Nigeria's sake Buhari remains the worst president Nigeria will ever have. 2 Likes |

A Pandora saint at that caught looting ₦250 million cash monthly from Anambra to his warehouse in Orile Lagos by Marvel Akpoyibo then Lagos commissioner of police. A monthly looting only rivaled by Ganduje. seborrhic: 2 Likes 1 Share |

EcoNews:We are talking about Tinubu your president and you are talking about peter Obi. Divide the IGR under Peter Obi with the dollar to naira exchange rate under him and divide the IGR of iikpeazu by the us to naira rate under him to know the actual coefficient. Just like saying that Tinubu has made I trillion naira in a month as against that of Jonathan 700Billion naira a month. Then you know how stupid you sound. |
