Hello all..please I need an urgent response. I applied for an Irish Visa late lastyear and I was issued the Visa. Two months ago, my sister also applied for the same Irish Visa but she just got a response today and was denied( she actually submitted all required documents and followed the same process like I did yet she was denied) but was told she can appeal within two months. Now the question is how do we appeal? What is the process of appealing please? Would she re-submit the same documents she submitted earlier and would she pay another visa fee...and what do you think should be corrected.please I need a detailed response. Thanks much

This one they said it should be in writing so they mean with pen and paper

She claimed that her sister was banned in 2018 for 5 years, but lifted the ban in 2016. This story is not right.

@Atinukemi23

Typo error. It was in 2010 and i lifted it for her in 2016. See attached. There is nothing i want to gain from telling lies.

Ok, I can see that.

Anyway, Irish immigration visa ban is always 5 years, and the ban will be automatically lifted at the end of the 5-year ban period.

My junior brother’s appointment for biometrics and capturing is next week.

Visa category - visitor’s visa (single entry)

I helped him paid the VFS service charge and courier fee online.

Do anyone know the estimated amount to be paid at vfs application center for single entry visit visa?

Hello
Please do you have a visa appeal sample letter that I can use for guidance.
Thanks
No because appeal is FREE. No fee is required for appeal. Your appeal must be made in writing to the address specified in the letter you have received. You should address each refusal reason in your appeal, supply clear and relevant evidence in your appeal to support your application and include any further information or documentation with your appeal letter.

Your appeal must be sent to:

VISA APPEALS OFFICER,

EMBASSY OF IRELAND,

11 NEGRO CRESCENT,

MAITAMA DISTRICT,

ABUJA, NIGERIA.

Make sure you send your appeal through courier maybe DHL or UPS and makesure you enclose return envelope.

The Appeals Officer will review your application, taking account of any additional information or documentation that you have supplied. On examination and review the original decision may be reversed. The Appeals Officer will notify you in writing when the decision is made and in general, a decision should issue within 4-6 weeks.

Good luck!

I don't think there's an issue. Whenever you want to renew it, explain to them in a letter about your busy schedule/unforeseen circumstances and that you will be able to travel this time.

My good man,

Quick question, at time of applying for your wife's visa, did you authenticate any government issued document - marriage certificate, etc?

I'm seeing conflicting information on the internet.

Kind regards.

She applied for a visitor visa, not an immigrant visa. I don’t think visitor visa needs any authentication.

Anyway, she went with the originals and photocopies of her documents.
