My people there is a serious concern about my pension fund in STANBIC IBTC bank. Recently my account was locked, reason for locking my account, till now i don't know. All customer services number i have are unrechable or invalid. I plan to storm the office the next week working day to complain. Within this period my company paid February pension i got that alert. When i finally unlocked my account what i saw in my account is terrible, about 85% of the pension paid for February was deducted.
I expected an increase in my account for saving my money with them to do business. But with i am seeing now is it wise to continue with STANBIC IBTC.
What are your experience like for those in other PFA
I am planning to move my fund from STANBIC IBTC.

I was even thinking of moving my pension from FCMB to StanbicIBTC pension, but i think i will have to hold on first.

This is very strange tbvh. I've been with Stanbic IBTC pensions for many years and never experienced anything like this. If this experience is true, then you can go to their experience centre as you said and request for a statement of account to find out what really happened before moving your account to another PFA, so that you are then working with facts and nit assumptions.

Haa, this is very untrue. I have been using this PFA for over two years now and have not had anything of such. For those who don’t know, a pension account cannot be closed because it doesn’t work like a bank account that can go dormant if you don’t use it for long. Moreover, you are not supposed to get an alert from your company but from your PFA. My dear, I am finding this to be very untrue. I am sure you have a relationship manager at Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, so why not contact the person and ask questions. Moreover, nobody can deduct your money from your pension account not even Stanbic IBTC. You can contact them on their phone number - 02 01 271 6000 or email pensionsolution@stanbicibtc.com. My experience with Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers has been amazing, my 5 siblings joined the PFA this year because of their services and operations.

It is true that IBTC Stanbic Pension is reliable.Have been with IBTC Stanbic Pension for over 20years, thing of such like illegal deduction, locking of pension account or mischievous transaction has never happened.

I have nothing to gain to come on line and give false info. I will conclude those who are saying this story is untrue are either staff of STANBIC IBTC or you were paid to do so.
I monitor my account everyday through the app. I am seriously pained to see continuous deductions in my account.
If you have the app monitoring your account and still said this story is untrue, you are part of the problems we are facing in this country.
I am expecting a reasonable person to investigate and verify the authenticity of the story before discrediting the info.
I am very disappointed with some people honestly. All my colleagues with this PFA are planning of moving their fund.

But did you get notifications for deduction. This means you are not monitoring your account.
All those interest is depleting as i speak

My friend don't sit at home and be typing what you don't know. Do i have anything to gain to indict PFA?
Please go and make make enquiry. I always monitor my account with the app and i always keep tab of the balance every month. I always received alert when my pension is paid. I can tell you that whole match and April was terrible. February pension was deducted by 85% or do you need screen shot to believe my story?

That number you put up there, call that number till this year end it will never connect.
Well i have made my concern known. I will not force you to beliebe it. I have also made my decisions as well.
