Confusion and FUD. WP8 is just as good as any of the top mobile OSes out there. I dare say it probably is the most fluid and intuitive of the lot.

iOS is even more dependent on iTunes for transfer of music files than WP8 is on Zune and yet iOS has gained wide acceptance. This fact is hardly a deal breaker when going for WP8.

jedisco: I'm beginning to see these Tecno fans as people who have used java phones all their lives and so can easily pee in their pants over basic phone functions.

One thing you guys should understand is that no matter the way you look at it, ALL ( take note ALL ) current Tecno phones can only be regarded as very low - low end phones.
So y'all need to take a pill and stop having orgasms over nothing.

I ended my post by saying that out of WP7, WP7.8 and WP8, the later is the only one that can compete with Android high-end OS which is jelly bean. What is so confusing about that??

Android OS is such a simple and superb
platform where you can turn your phone into a complete utility machine.
In Nokia's Lumia series, to transfer content like music and videos you need to download and install Zune into the machine, without which, your phone is nothing.
Whereas in Android you don't need any
special thing to start the mass storage mode.
The only strong contender coming from WP Stable is WP8 which is almost as good as android's Jelly bean.

For starters, let me point out one. Android has never been associated with simplicity. Infact it's the most complex modern OS.

How hard can it be to say "gee Nokia has released another phone unfortunately I'm too broke to afford to it", instead of saying "Nokia has completely lost it with this release, my Tecno which is a cheap android phone runs circles around this Lumia any day"
If the Lumia doesn't meet your needs, fine (you can even be gracious to explain what those needs are and how the Lumia fails to meet them) but for the sake of sanity and to avoid the risk of appearing as a dunce don't make unfounded comments about a product you haven't used yet let alone seen, in a dismissive manner.

its obvious this guys have not seen a windows phone talkless of use one. Windows is the thing for me. The tiles,the daily app,game and music updates. A living phone.

Talking about seeing an Android phone every jack,Tom,di..ck and harry even in my village uses an Android phone. You are aware that techno has made dat possible. I can't compare the Android with an iPhone because they are too similar for my liking.

Soo we're left with a windows phone on one side and the andriod/iphone on the other. Windows is not too common i agree, but they are taking up the vast majority of the top smartphone market gradually. All phone makers are gradually shifting to the windows operating system.
Samsung has a windows phone.
HTC has a windows phone.
Nokia runs her Lumia series on windows op.

What else do you want? Soon blackberry,iPhone and others would join. Therby leaving the andriod market for techno.

runzlord: The only thing, i repeat THE ONLY THING Windows lack is Apps.... And forecast shows windows having as much apps as andriod in 2014..... Windows app store currently have the fastest growt and has more apps in its second year than ios and andriod in thier 2nd year! Besides andriod is tooo common now if i had the money i would go 4 a lumia..... Ive seen that fone just once (lumia 920) and i could not get my eyes off it! The phone is more than beautifull! Ive seen Gs3 and htc1 they re just lyk nomal fones in my eyes and window UI is fantastic! I swear its UI murders IOS + andriod + blackberry + firefox + unbutu put together... Leopantro: Could it be that they don't have enough apps? Recall that even the blackberry app store has more apps than the windows phone store. Also, blackberry had to port android apps and borrow some features to make the Z10 significant in todays market. I heard that there would be update called "blueballs" or "blue something" that would make windows phones do wonders, even beat S4. Maybe it would blow android and IOS out of the race then

The Lumia train is silent for the now, but with Nokia/microsoft investing and hinging their strategy on low budgets devices . .The rave will soon land our shores in the same manner the Lumia 520/521 churning out sales like no tomorrow in Asia and America . .

Specifically, the Lumia 520 is gradually ruling the Indian Market, only a matter of time before Nigeria catches the heat
