I never said a Benz is better than a Toyota. I am not a car, I am a horse . Feminism is misunderstood in this part of the world. This part of the world where an average individual feels cheated. It blinds many from understanding and appreciating true love. Why don’t we preach love rather than preach a concept of equality. When I say I love you, it means I have seen you like myself if not above me. The Bible says love your neighbor as yourself. This means see your neighbor as your equal. I can give you love, but I can’t say I give you equality because equality is not in my hands to decide. When you love someone you give, I don’t know what you do when you are “equal” to someone. This is the best way I can preach this. We should seek for a society with love, respect and openess for people and not one with gender comparison.

Modern feminism particularly in Nigeria and Africa is in its "transitional stage" back to orthodox feminism. We are still trying to get back there. Human rights is a part of gender equality or vice versa because women are humans and it reminds me of Hillary Clinton's statement in the 1995 women's conference in Beijing "women's rights are human rights" and it is slightly different from gender equality that one is a whole new level.
