Not only Pokobros, it will make INNOSON, Ibeto, Chikason and Government House Awka go away! grin grin grin

You people should measure the types of lie you tell villagers from the types of lie you tell learned people. You probably don't even know the location of the flyover is is Obosi, while Pokobros and Whiz oil is in Atani. But, you will tell the typical baseless Nigerian lies.

Anyhow, since Julius Berger is building this bridge, it already knows that it can build multiple flyovers on the same spot by simply making it higher. Germany is replete with such flyover, some of which was built by Julius Berger. Lagos also has one or two spots that a flyover went over another. So stop lying. Just say they think it will cost less to demolish and build another flyover than build a standard one over the existing one.

those overpasses you posted are disgusting. Our idwa of what we want is actually our problem

Anambra State Govt Reassures Oil Exploration Companies Of Conducive Business Environment

Anambra state government has assured all oil exploration companies working in the state of favourable work conditions.

The Permanent Secretary, Office of the Secretary to the state Government, Dr. Emma Ude-Akpeh gave the assurance when he led top government delegation to an oil exploration company located at Ogwu-Ikpele, Ogbaru local government area of the state.

Explaining the essence of the visit, Dr. Ude-Akpeh said that oil isbeen produced in Anambra state, hence the state government’s desire to visit the company, understand their model of operation, offer
assistant where necessary and ensure that all applicable regulations are complied with and accruable revenues appropriately remitted.

The Permanent Secretary further noted that the Governor Willie Obiano Administration is eager to see a mutual working relationship between
oil host Communities and oil exploration companies working in them all over the state and to make sure that no Community is marginalized
under any guise.

The Director of Environment and Ecology, Anambra State Ministry of Environment, Mr. Anthony Odiegwu said that his ministry is in Ogwu-Ikpele to ascertain how the company is complying with environmental standards to avoid environmental pollution.

The President General of Ogwu-Ikpele Community, Mr. Jude Sunday-Uzodi thanked them for the visit and appealed to the state government to
assist them.

The Transition Committee Chairman, Ogbaru Local Government Area, Comrade Arinzechukwu Awogu, the Technical committee Chairman of
Anambra state Oil and Gas Development Committee, Professor Charles Ofoegbu were present during the visit.

Yes this what I have been Asking ANSG to do reach out to those oil commpanies, follow there activities, make sure they convert their OPL to OML so that the derivation will reach us, also know how many litres drilled a day... because that determines percentage that will be paid to us by FG.

So no word or hope in sight for the oil tussle in aguleri otu and our orient petroleum. That area has a very high deposit of both oil and gas.(that is Peter Obi and GEJ herald failure)

This oil producing status of Anambra is a bit confusing! Are they producing oil from Anambra or not? If they are (as is obvious from news reports like the one above), then what are the financial gains Anambra gets from said production?

You’re right in the sense that GEJ and Obi shouldn’t have prevaricated and procrastinated on the issue of granting the state its rightful derivation status! They probably thought they had all the time in the world, not knowing a anti-Igbo party and President, who doesn’t give a fuc/k about Igbo progress, would rig themselves into power in 2015! Does anyone think if it had been a state like Kaduna or Katsina that had the amount of hydrocarbons Anambra has but had a lingering boundary dispute with a neighbouring state, that the dispute would have lasted this long....almost getting on to a decade now?
