Is This Really True

When I dial *312# on Airtel, I get an option called My Area, but someone told me he doesn't see that option on his Airtel line.

Please, check yours and see if you'll see that option. It has some cheap data subscriptions. I get 40GB for 5k instead of the usual 18 - 20GB for 5k others get both on MTN and Airtel.

The reason for this is because I feel Airtel is charging people based on the state they're in. Some people from other states claim not to see that option.

Currently using it for 1GB for #200, if exhausted I do another one..

All my Airtel lines show that option even the ones I use on my small phone.

I just want to know if the option My Area exists on your SIM when you dial *312#. If it does, I want to see what is inside when you select the My Area option.

Airtel has a particular data bundle for badagry,Lagos resident ...they also do this campus data bundle offer too,I think for students on campus...

I have observed it for months now. Everybody I ask that isn't from this LGA, in Rivers state doesn't have that option. E be like say Airtel wan favor us. But that's unfair though. This discriminatory. Abi is it because they power their mast in this LGA with free light. All the companies here don't pay for light.

Maybe they're charging people based on the cost of running a mast in their area, hence, the name My Area.

yeah the name sef make me think so[b]my area. [/b]never heard about it before..
There must be something happening over there, it has to be for that specific area alone..

One of the foolish mistakes I made is getting only MTN SIM cards, I hope to get other products too. MTN's "monopoly" in that aspect of my life is absurd and crazier because I never noticed. I developed a phobia for glo after I mistakenly blocked my mom's phone as a kid and GLO customer service couldn't help, I also began to stay away from Airtel after I used Gionee P4 and I had to stay at a particular spot to browse the internet .
