Visit ANY eastern state and you'd realise it's the same shithole as the rest of Nigeria. But worse because housing is PROHIBITIVELY expensive since everybody is a "billionaire".

One agent in Enugu took me to an ABANDONED motel that was converted to a residential buildings. Each.room is a "self-contain apartment". No water but it goes for #250K per annum.

I did my camp in Umuna bende Abia state and posted to owerri and I have also been to Anambra, aside onitsha and aba, no real commercial activity is going on there…it’s totally barren land. Ibadan the love to denigrate, is miles ahead of whatever it is they call city in their 5 villages angry

It's not good at all and I don't believe that the problem can not be solved.

Ebonyi has never had good administrators with Umahi being one of the worst that impoverished the people instead of enriching them. Imo State has enjoyed the best of governance even though the press has been unfriendly. The free education from Primary to University embarked upon by Okorocha government reduced poverty and out of school children by 70%. In fact it remains the most successful poverty reduction program in history of Nigeria . Ebonyi needs to spend 80% of their income on free education and in 10 years poverty will disappear.

You have spoken the truth. People in Nigeria tend to garnish their area of origin. If you go to the South East nothing to show about development, if you go to the South West , the same shit you will find there. The only parts of Nigeria, I saw good infrastructure were Akwa ibom, Delta state, Rivers, Borno state, Jos and other parts of the north west which I think may have good infrastructure.
