Add Boko Haram terrorism to their popular trade of thuggery and cultism. The FG must watch Okene. For those that school in ABU Zaria & BUK Kano will tell how the Ebiras & to a lesser extend Igalas practically spearheaded the fight against indecent dress code, clubbing & male - female access to each other campuses.

Yeah well, it's all black people following Arabs' words.

But then serious action is need. Kogi is not the same thing as Kano

U're very correct. They are more fanatical and unforgiving than the hausa and fulani muslims. They are always at the forefront in every islamic struggle on campus. They gave us so much trouble back then in ABU Samaru campus.
Re: Ebira People Taught Hausas Fanaticism by Beaf1: 6:29pm On Aug 09, 2012
I have mentioned this in a thread about the church attack at okene. Igbira, Edo and even yorubas to a lesser extent can be more deadly when they join the boko harem activities. They tend to be more fanatic
Re: Ebira People Taught Hausas Fanaticism by PhysicsQED(m): 7:33pm On Aug 09, 2012
You people are in a world of deep self delusion. See some fool even mentioning Edo as if a single Edoid name (not just claiming Edo as state of origin/residence) has been linked to Islamic fanatical terrorism.

Face reality and try to put some of your boko haram al queda brothers up north in check.

...and the foolish Hausa people embrace religious fanaticism and ethnic violence.
You blame others for your woes... Yet, you have surpassed every other tribe in Nigeria in all the negative indices

Now who are you going to blame the following on....

1.) Hausas' giving Islam bad name by their ethno-religious extremism e.g unwarranted hatred of christians and non-Hausas.
2.) Hausas' arrogance giving rise to the oft-repeated phrase of "Yoruba and SW'ner are not real Muslim"
3.) Hausas' believe that they are born to rule.
4.) Hausas' indolence and crass laziness
5.) Hausas' backwardness in areas of academics and technical endevour.
6.) Hausas' level of poverty as demonstrated by nos of beggars on Nigerian streets and beyond
7.) Hausas' high rate of diseases like leprosy, tuberculosis etc.
8.) Hausas' hero-worshipping of politicians as wealthy individual even when the individual is owning any business
9.) Hausas' high level of Almajiri and irresponsible parenthood
10.)Hausas' high rate of divorce and concealed/discrete homosexuality (dan daodu) even among married folks

NOTE: This post is not intended as an attack on Hausa people, but as a tool for exposing the OP(13 volts) "Hausaism", myopic thinking, hypocrisy and disgraceful "racism"(tribalism)

Re: Ebira People Taught Hausas Fanaticism by ektbear: 4:02pm On Aug 10, 2012
That may be. But as my father told me as a kid when I blamed my foolishness on someone else:

"If your friends jump off a bridge, will you do the same?"

Whether learned elsewhere or not, you are responsible for your actions. Not someone else..

there's a reason why everywhere geographically located above the south, is called north.

northerners are made up of various ethnicities and all are commonly called hausa.

Not true. Many northern minority tribes are different from hausa. Ebira, Igala, Idoma, Berom, Jukun, Gwari, etc are northerners but not hausas. Are all southerners igbos?

I know Middlebelters can be really vicious.
If they actually taught Hausas fanaticism, why did you follow their evil ways?

Your post is vague. I could nt waste my time to read it again, i have moved on tey tey. But i still need u to answer this question: " Southern Nigeria is made up of different ethnic groups; are all of them put together commonly called igbos?"
Re: Ebira People Taught Hausas Fanaticism by tpia5: 5:01pm On Aug 10, 2012
^ does the original post refer to igbos?

kindly read through it again and direct your questions to the poster, not me.

you seem like one of those "hausa or igbo wannabees" who know nothing but want to prove they have a keyboard.

No mallam! it is you who who have comprehension difficulty.
In a bid to support your brother, you fail to hide your hausaism.

Contrary to you understanding (more like misunderstanding), he is talking about Ebira people teaching Hausas fanaticism (or is your understanding a proof of point no. 5)

Again, If you blame the Ebiras for teaching you hausas fanaticism, who then are you going to blame the following on....?

Let me guess.... The remaining Banza Bokwai (i.e. bastard seven (other non-Hausa ethnic group in the north considered inferior))

1.) Hausas' giving Islam bad name by their ethno-religious extremism e.g unwarranted hatred of christians and non-Hausas. BIROM?
2.) Hausas' arrogance giving rise to the oft-repeated phrase of "Yoruba and SW'ner are not real Muslim" GWARI?
3.) Hausas' believe that they are born to rule. JUKUN?
4.) Hausas' indolence and crass laziness NUPE?
5.) Hausas' backwardness in areas of academics and technical endevour. IGALA?
6.) Hausas' level of poverty as demonstrated by nos of beggars on Nigerian streets and beyond IDOMA?
7.) Hausas' high rate of diseases like leprosy, tuberculosis etc. TIV?
8.) Hausas' hero-worshipping of politicians as wealthy individual even when the individual is owning any business BACHAMA?
9.) Hausas' high level of Almajiri and irresponsible parenthood KATAB?
10.)Hausas' high rate of divorce and concealed/discrete homosexuality (dan daodu) even among married folks ZURU?

The Hausas have no blame. infact they are innocent of the bloodshed and wrongdoings because ... (insert the topic)

There's an iota of truth in every contribution here. I think the mistake was made when the F G left the followers to the whims of the religious scholars in the name of religious freedom. The govt. should start monitoring every preacher, mosque or church within our borders to ensure religion becomes a tool for construction rather than division. All these holier than thou rubbish will not get us anywhere.

And how does that now make me a northerner? I happen to school with ebira muslims in ABU zaria and i know them to be more fanatical than the hausas. I never said ebiras taught the hausas fanatism, but I'm not surprised someone here is accusing them of teaching the hausas fanatism based on their behaviours in ABU and BUK. @OP, u're not far from the truth.
