Hello people,i applied for graduate driver job posted by dangote company,some days ago i received a an email from them,BUT i tried to open d file sent to me but was corrupted.please has any one in the house recieved such mail ,please share and give

Just got mine. Can't open it either. Anyone else? Let's know what they have for us.

They have called for first batch(they're 100 in numbers) and they will be through with their induction tomorrow. A friend works at the cement company at Obajana and he is incharge ot their training

How can they send email that is corrupted?abi the thing corrupt for una inbox ni?maybe there is virus in your system or something.

Why are Nigerians so obsessed with paper qualifications? "Graduate Trainee Driver"' Graduate Trainee Banker", graduate trainee this, graduate trainee that. Why the madness? In any case, how trained are Nigerian graduates?  I feel the whole thing is an index of underdevelopment. Come to think of it, How many Nigerian-trained PhD holders have written any book that's up to 500 pages? Can, for example, Nigerian PhD holder-governors like Uduaghan and Babangida Aliu, write a scholarly essay that is world class in their field?

^^^^^ money can do all and everything in Nigeria not excluding PhD certification and certificate. At least we all see the man at the top with PhD certificate who is acting like kindergarten certificate holder.

Regarding the attachment not opening it could due to not improper file extension or you don't have MS office package (word, excel, powerpoint etc) on the system you are using.

For the file extension...try renaming the file with either a .doc (MS Word), .xls (MS Excel) or .ppt (MS Power point).

Example: Let say the file name is Dangote...try renaming it to Dangote.doc...if it's a word document it will open, if it doesn't open try Dangote.xls for excel format.

Whats d point of having a certificate dat cant earn you anything,make den dey chop d certificate abi,thousands of 'certificate' holders out there living under their mothers roof,who told you they'll be truck drivers forever??
Its very clear u dont av d least minute insight at all.being a truck driver will earn them d kind of capital that will lead them 2 success,but i guess u dont understand that,povery-driven-stricken village farmer

I heard that starting salary for this job is N150,000 per month.Can anyone confirm this?

I believe the only required qualification to be a truck driver is basic reading and writing. Dangote's advert is a typical example of how his expatriate senior management has no regard for Nigerian earned degrees....it's an insult to our Universities. Limiting the position to graduates does no good for our economy....it is under-employment.

Everyone here carry enough good reasons for hand....those for and against....but to be quite honest....Dangote Group na privately owned company...no be gov owned...so, the guy can post for anything hin like....the last time I checked....Dangote no carry gun for people head to apply....its a choice now...haba...

Must we all reply to forum topics just because we have access to the internet? It's really disappointing that a good number of Nigerians are die-hard cynics. Here are people showing their reactions on the hope of a noble job, those that are in no position to provide one are actually complaining. If they drove Dangote trucks across Nigeria today, and they become the millionaires of tomorrow, we will all be grinning happily about their justified wealth. Since they are not signing a Boko Haram form or (Armed Robberry training Institute), why don't we all respect their actions and wish them our very best?

Its his type that lazy about waiting for "God" to throw down bags of money from heaven for them,people with a mentality like his end up paupers for life,someone is trying to make use of a good opportunity that may take him places and the crackhead is spewing trash.

All i know is that graduate truck drivers will bring sanity to truck driving in d Nigerian roads and also reduce the occurrence of automobile crashes and/or accidents on the road.

On the other hand, if u have a biz idea in mind, u can save up some of ur salary and resign later. Abi, shey na by force to be
driver forever.

If dangote will pay me 500k monthly... Omo I will drive o!
