This year's feast of the Holy Rosary is organized in a special way and rhyming with the centenary celebration of the Catholic Church in Owerri Province comprising Owerri, Umuahia, Okigwe, Ahiara, Orlu and Aba dioceses (Since 1912).

The usual feast day 'the 7th day of October' is already been taken by the Archbishop for his celebration of the church establishments in Owerri Archdiocese(i.e. Holy Rosary Secondary School, Holy Rosary Hospital Emekuku and the rest). In view of this, the Block Rosary Crusade Council had fixed this annual event outside the main scheduled date and will hold on Saturday October 27, 2012 at St. Patrick's Parish Obilubi Mbieri in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State.

The Feast proper will commence with the Rosary procession by 9am in the morning while accreditation of members will be on alongside with other preparations. The Holy Mass will come up immediately after the Rosary session and rounded up by 11am when the teaching for the day on the "CHALLENGES OF MARIAN DEVOTEES IN THE PRESENT TIME" will be delivered by HRH Eze Muruako of Ihiagwa Ancient Kingdom. Brief entertainment will be observed as the Brigade Matching Band Parade rolls the band to usher guests to the high table. Other events follow as well.
