sexyolag the Malthus's theory of population itself is not that difficult. taking about food growing in an arithmetic progression and population growing in a geometric progression. remember your sequence and series back in mathematics. AP and GP. you should know what arithmetic progression and geometric progression is. the main point of Malthusians theory was that population was doubling at an exponential rate that's in the sense of 2,4,8,16, 32..... That's 2^infinity from 2 persons to 4 etc while food growth was growing in a very slow and steady state that's in the sense of 1,2,3,4,5....etc. according to him if this he assumed that if this continues the human race might have nothing more to survive on. he predict that the world would go into turmoil and there would be issues and problems like overcrowding pollution,depletion of resource etc and he gave some positive checks to check and reduce over population by positive checks he meant -late marriages -famine -wars etc. not done though got a low bad battery hope it helped? |

Malthusian Theory Malthus criticized Condorcet and Godwin on dr "POOR LAW" dt If d responsibilities of the children are not on their parents, d parent will begin to Multiply ..... Proposition ... Malthus Believes Food is essential for Population to grow He also added dt Agricultural produce will doubled itself after 25years under favourable condition and Population will grow geometrically ........ Malthus was criticized by some scholars e.g Hamilton ...
