i was confused too, especially as you emphasized good job, and not high paying job.

There's an infinite number of good jobs, and no programme will exist if its creators didn't believe it to be 'good.' If a 17 year old approaches me and asks what he should study to get a good job (I prefer the word 'career'), I'll say: "study anything well; try Etymology..." The question should be phrased somehow like this: "Is Guidance counselling and Psychology a good programme to enable me do xyz in the yyy industry z years from now?" A graduate of that programme can do anything from educating 7 year-olds to researching ergonomics for General Electric. Both good jobs depending on the lens he's looking through.

Tnx yamakuza, but i didn't put guidance and counselling in my jamb form,what i actually wanted was mass comm,but uniport gave me their heart desire,i dnt want to reject d course sha,that's y i'm asking if its a good course....pls other pals should contribute ,i want u guys to advice me
