Old Chinese couple refused to relocate and let their house be demolished and create space for road expansion in the area



An old Chinese couple got their housed fenced with roads as they refused to relocate for a new road being created in Zhejiang province of China.

Construction workers in the country’s Zhejiang province surrounded their five-storey building with asphalt, leaving motorists to navigate an unlikely obstacle.

China’s People’s Daily newspaper said the couple refused to leave because they were unhappy with the compensation package they were offered.

While one can say the Govt did well by not buldozing the house against their wish.
They are also liable in not negotiating well with the family.
A relocation deal is the best.
Per-adventure they mad a high compesation not commensurate to the property,
then the Govt may not be able to do much than to errect multiple bumps and
sign posts notifying road users of the bumps.
Sign posts should be erected at 1km, 500m, 200m notifying road-user to slow down because of the building.
