Is it proper to accept a wedding gift after ur wedding day? Maybe a day or a week after d wedding day. Please what is ur opinion about this?

What is wrong about that, so many people may genuine excuse for not attending your wedding, and after that, they bring your gift, are u going to reject it? doing that, simply means u are angry for their non-appearance, is that really necessary?
As for me, i collected before, during and after..........no qualms.
