Hi guys, i just joined the forum and i want to expand my Biz and contacts thru this forum on bringing in cars for prospective clients. I have seen sky high prices people charge to bring in cars for people and i think i can change that. I'm in new jersey and i will give details of any car and what it will cost to buy and ship it to naija. Lets do this, cheers.

This is a 2010 ML 350 4matic for $33,500 plus the cost of shipping, which is not a lot at all. I guarantee u that this is the best price that u will see of a quality of car like this. Because i have seen ads on this forum about guys bringing cars from the U.S and i know where they buy from and i also know that they add thousands of dollars on the price they want to sell to people in naija, which doesn't give the person in naija to buy from here because of the high price. check this out. cheers

zubby75: it depends on the mileage on the car but i will give u a price that will be buying and shipping it, u have to do the clearing, which isn't that much

"You have to do the clearing which isn't that much"...really?? Beware of "bait and switch". Clearing is one of the reasons cars have become expensive in Nigeria today. Gone are the days when clearing agents can easily "compromise" the papers with customs agents (basically meaning, giving you reduced duty through false declaration which can get you in trouble with those custom officers on the highway). You can verify this with any custom agent.

A 2012 Honda CR-V EX-L (which the guy is buying for you for $31,500)clears for N2Million. Now covert his $31,500 to Naira (thats 31500 x 160 = 5.04M), add the clearing which he is leaving you to do to that figure (5.04 + 2 = 7.04M), that N7.04million for a 2012 Honda CR-V and he calls it cheap Remember you have not added the logistics, extra money and time spent clearing the car yourself...
I am always amused when people run their mouth and make misleading claims!!
Re: Why Pay So Much To Get The Latest Cars From The U.S by zubby75: 1:46am On Dec 13, 2012
Nairaland is a forum where people can make or lay claims and be faceless, that's the good. Spirit1Has claimed that i'm making a bait and switch offer for on a 2012 CRV -EXL model with 335 miles for $31,500 which includes shipping. i dont know your motive for putting up such false claim, if he can get the above model car with the exact miles and specs to nigeria at that price from here, he should tell the whole world through this forum,so we can all go and buy it from there. He should also tell us why he discourages people from buying cars from the U.S, is it because he's a dealer or he can get it cheaper from here, that remains to be seen. It may well be that Spirit1 knows how much it costs to clear a 2012 honda in lagos and that it costs 2m naira ( which i highly doubt)but to come on this forum and say that its bait and switch on my side to tell someone how much it will cost to get him this car to lagos, just smells ulterior motive around his assertion, Again spirit1 should provide us with a cheaper means or route of getting us this car from jersey and not to come here and run his mouth without offering any solutions. The only benefit i will give him is that his distrust on anything or anybody offering something beyond the shores of nigeria might be playing heavily on his small mind and brain. Spirit1 or ghost2, whatever your name is, get it together.

There's is one right now on for sale in nigeria, get this,-------9.5 million naira and guess what, its used and another one for 7.5 million for sale in nigeria listed on Nairaland even though they didn't list the Mileage So let Spirit1 keep running his mouth
