I discovered this morng dt once ur BB subscription expires on etisalat network, they automatically start charging you per kb of download from your available balance,instead of the usual practice of cutting you off the internet.
This to me, is pure daylight robbery. I have a BB and a smartphone, which I use more. I only use the BB to ping. Called dr Customer Care and was told to deactivate all programs accessing d internet n i'm like hello, wat about the hidden programs. This is daylight robbery and i wld like anyone out there to find a way of calling d mgmt's attention to this. If I want to browse wit my BB, i'll subscribe, else they shld pls cut me off the internet!

Lol, they are not gonna cut u off, if u don't want to b in that situation, u deactivate ur bis just before it expires, else they start charging u per kb.if u don't and u recharge the value of ur subsciption, they renew u auto. If ur not comfy with it, switch networks

You have to also understand that apart from subscribing to BIS, you blackberry phone can still connect to the internet and browse only cannot do BIS, bbm or any other native BIS app that requires BIS to run.

If your phone uses data, it is only logical that you will be charged from your main balance for data consumption if you do not have data bundle.

Let's try to understand the way mordern technology works before accusing service providers of ripp-off.

I will ignore you and guess you cannot just be old enough to stomach the fact that the truth hit you where it really hurts and stop trying to divert your anger to personality instead of facing the reality that someone tried to call your attention to a fact you might have ignored.
