udatso is reluctant to accept the historical fact that Jesus really died, was buried in a rich man's grave as Isaiah 53:9 prophesied. Eye witnesses record that rich man as Joseph of Arimathia, Matthew 27:57-61. udatso seems to accept that there is indeed a historical Jesus, but like many who not DELIGHT IN THE STUDY of the Old Testament, does not want a Messiah that is THE LAMB OF GOD, that must be sacrificed to take away the sin of the world. For the verses udatso is bandying, there are hundreds of Old Testament prophecies that Jesus fulfilled, that leaves no doubt that He is THE MESSIAH, and that every knee must bow to His name, as it is today. 1 Like |

I WILL CHANGE MY RELIGION IF I COME TO REALISE THAT THE POWER BEHIND MY RELIGION REJOICES AT THE SHEDING OF BLOOD OF HUMAN BEING. |

larrymoore: . So, hw do we defend d cases of ambiguities l mean clear cut contradictions. Let reason together. If you study Jesus, you will find sufficient reasons to like Him. Only Him can give understanding, of not only spiritual phenomena, but also physical and social, as you can see manifesting all over the world. Jesus is the LIGHT that lightens everyone that comes into this world, John 1:1-9. 1 Like |

ThanksThis is serious.....somebody said 1+1=5 and another said 1+1=2. I don't know what spriitual. Guidiance would make them equal.its very simple as ABC. I have heard this comment from many christians especially after they find certain contradicory places in the bible they can't explain. I am beginning to think its not a coincidence. God is not a God of confussion. A is not B and B is not A. What sprirual guidance do you need to comprehend this simple fact? |

larrymoore: . So, hw do we defend d cases of ambiguities l mean clear cut contradictions. Let reason together.According to him, you need to be guided by the holy spirit. By that theory, no one can bring any fault in christianity as a whole, really like that approach. Nxt time someone asks me questions about the quran that I can't explain, I jst tell him he needs spiritual guidance to understand the book of God |

udatso: Christianity emanates from Jesus, and if you evaluate Him from the opening lines of Genesis to Revelations, you will see Him. And you'll likely like Him. And there's no way you can begin to compare yourself with Abraham, or Moses, whose records has stood the testh of 3500 years. |

ckkris:It seems you don't get the islamic point of view.....islam teaches us to love him, respect him but we never consider him God. Just want to ask this out of curiosity, you are free to ignore it if you are not comfortable with it. How did these 2 words "bible" and "christianity" originate? Are they in the scriptures? |
Re: What Would Make You Change Your Religion? by ckkris: 11:04pm On Mar 21, 2013 |
udatso: Trying to understand the Holy Bible from a non-biblical point of view, is always futile. A record that is 3500 years deserves some respect. |

udatso: The words 'Bible', 'smoking', 'cigarette' etc are also not in the Bible so lack of the word in the Bible doesn't negate its existence. As the verses that prove Divinity of Christ (that He is GOd), try the ones below: Revelation 4: 11 "Worthy art Thou, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for Thou didst create all things, and because of Thy will they existed, and were created." John 1:1 'In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God' Colossians 1: 16 - 17 "For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities -- all things have been created by Him and for Him." Verse 17: "And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together." Titus 2:13 "Looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus;" John 20:27 "Then He said to Thomas, Reach here your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand, and put it into My side; and be not unbelieving, but believing. Thomas answered and said to Him, My Lord and my God!" Verses for Trinity: 2Cor13:14"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all." Matthew 28:19"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit," |

udatso: Dear, there is no teaching of Islam in the Bible. AS for prohibition of food, read this Acts 10. Although this vision was symbolic meaning there was no more divide between the jews and gentiles, it also applies. |

udatso: And Jesus didn't heal the woman's daughter? Did you read that passage to the end? Do you know that this story is one story used to illustrate Faith? Do you know what is called 'The Great Commision' in the Bible where Jesus commanded His disciples to preach in Jerusalem, Samaria and to the uttermost parts of the earth? Do you know that everyone is a gentile apart from the jews? I would advice you NOT to misquote the Bible to support your twisted points. |

udatso: I am sure God was also dependent when He said '... come, Let's make man in our own image...' in Genesis 1. The Bible is life and can only be understood by the help of the Holy Spirit. |

udatso: You are the one who is deviating. He posted a simple post and you are up and about. Where in the Bible was it stated that Jesus Christ DID NOT die for our sins on the cross or that He was not willing to die? |
Re: What Would Make You Change Your Religion? by bukatyne(f): 12:28pm On Mar 22, 2013 |
udatso: the word 'Christian' is first recorded in Acts 11:26 where the people of Antioch called the apostles 'christians' meaning 'Christ-like' i.e. behaving like Christ in words, actions and reactions The word 'Bible' is not in the Bible. A similar word 'scriptures' is used meaning book |

Jesus heals people even today. How do I know ? I know it because Jesus healed me completely, spirit, soul, and body. I also see others healed likewise. And we gather together to learn more about Him, to worship Him joyfully, in spirit and in truth, in praises, doing things that spread forth His name. When a person comes in contact with the resurrected Jesus, Christ, and eternal King of kings, that person will bow, in humble adoration! This is more of a relationship, and not a religion. |

udatso: udatso: udatso: It really amazes me how Islam wld want to fetch out inconsistency in the bible for christ sake islam originated more than 600yrs after christ if d words in d bible were nt true then how come most of it founnd its way to d koran am a historian nd can give u clear cut details abt all dis d way islam speaks of christianity nw d prophet of islam Mohammed wld never ve done dat in his time cos he knws d truth also. My advise is dis seek God nd find him stop practising religion! Cos if u do nd continue basking in unwaranted comparism of religion in d site of God u r neither here nt dere nd might loose out in d end. If u ve found God in islam serve him whole heartedly nd make sure u don't miss paradise nd if u ve found God in christianity serve him whole heartedly so u wld make heaven. |

prettyprecy: Seriously, if u had started reading d posts from page 1, u would knw...any article that relates to religion, some christians must come in and abuse islam and muslims..the fact that some people who claim to be muslims misbehave/violent doesn't mean we are all like that..I stayed in ebonyi state at itim ukwu(enohia itim near ubeyi local gvmnt) where I attended my primary and secondary sch...we lived there with the igbos as one...they knew islam wasn't violent..I am from edo state and we live side by side with christians....have u eva heard of religious violence there...I didn't jst come in here to criticize any religion....there isn't a day that an article is written and abuses are nt poured on islam and muslims..some evn went as far as abusing our God and our holy prophet muhammad(PBUh). Its really unfair. Why can't u guys leave us alone.do u think I wanted this argmnt....I jst wanted to show that anybody hu attacks islam wrngly, I wd tell him ugly things and truth about his religion that he wdnt want to hear. And jst a point of correction...I know my religion correctly..saying if am nt here nor there wasn't called for. And one more thing:Muslims don't knock door to door looking for people 2 convert 2 islam. So u tell me hu keeps basking religion? Am going to quote som comments of ur brothers after this |

Icecomrade: its obvious 4rm ur comment that u were never a christain or never had the priviledge to open ur bible 4 once. Back in school days, studying islamic family law n crime exposed me to the study of islamism. Still keeping my Quran. Keep quiet n stop writing what u dont know. Try and engage me in comparism n extent of inconsistencies, u ll probably convert hindusim this time. Gullible mindThe person who quoted this was the one I wanted to face since he asked a muslim for it.I wanted him to point out the inconsistencies in islam let me defend it and point out that of xtianity let's c if he can |

musKeeto: Religion: The faith of the loo sirs, correct? That can see only after being made poo? Because survival should be only for the fit, and never for the weak? For there has never been any in all history that has been both fit and righteous enough to "Give justice to the weak and the fatherless?" Avenge me, O GOD my Lord; according to Thy righteousness - AND, by Thy grace, by my hands. That I mayest then say of the folly that would label with the tag, "turd;" that which (being not only "The THIRD Covenant" is the very best, and imbued - as it truly and indeed is - with the utmost good; that I mayest then say of that folly, and all such as it: You are Gods, Sons of The Most High, all of you; nevertheless, you shall die like men, and fall like any prince. - Adedotun The Ikoro. |
