Trying to understand the Holy Bible from a non-biblical point of view, is always futile. A record that is 3500 years deserves some respect.

Dear, there is no teaching of Islam in the Bible. AS for prohibition of food, read this Acts 10. Although this vision was symbolic meaning there was no more divide between the jews and gentiles, it also applies.
