That means you didn't activate after restoring, it wasn't caused by jailbreak. You need to get a valid sim to activate the phone to solve the problem. That's all.

guys, nid help once again. brot in a friends iPad2 to work to help him add some games cos most ones someone put for him were the free ones and not the action ones that i would like, connected it to ma iTunes, almost 50apps dt he had were all gone and even all ma own apps i intended to had for him will not install, some apps from ma iPhone 3G meant for iPad also will not install, really in a fix here, what could ve happened and how can i fix this? plss

I just joined the party too and it was fun until i upgraded my iphone 4 without knowledge of BLOBS saving. i'm now stuck with 2 iphone 4 on iOS 5.0.1 with modem firmware 04.11.08 as a result of which i lost my jailbreak and ultrasn0w unlock. i'm double screwD. Ps is there any way official or unofficial to unlock the iphone 4s cos im expecting one soon. Thankx

if the one you' expecting is factory unlocked 4s, you don't need to bother yourself.

Theres no unofficial way of unlocking d iphone with 4.11 bb but u can b lucky to unlock it officially IF AND ONLY IF d carrier they are locked to offer d unlock. To know d carrier, check d model n carrier at d about page. If d model nos ends with LL, dont bother.

Use ifunbox on d laptop. It works like ifile on iphone. To attach, install anyattach from cydia(paid tweak) or ifile but ifile attimes doesnt attach fine.

@mendax, thanks, i just joined the the list of Iusers,i got an Ipad2 and i paid a guy where i bought it to install applications for me which he did including facebook app but it still does not show via anything each time i post on facebook.

Pls, must i have a credit card to open an apple accout? cos i wanted to update some of the application and it requires me to loggin, i started the process to open the account but got to a stage which i was asked for credit card and billing details, i inserted my GTB master card details but it was declined. i need help on this too. Thanks alot.

i think its a version 4 problem. The older versions still show via iphone.

well, most international firms do not accept nigerian cards un4tun8ly. In my case, I use a foreign card registered outside the country. If it helps, when I opened my account a couple of years I was in 9ja and there was no app store/iTunes store registrtion allowed in 9ja, so i just used a US "random" address. ofcourse at the time they didnt insist on the card details. so you could download only free apps

However, it seems you are in luck and it turns out that there is actually a "work around" to open account without a card. Just follow the instructions posted on the link below, you should be sorted in no time! lemme know if it works for you

Apple accept gtb naira mastercard thats what i use to pay for my paid apps. I dont know why they reject yours.
