In another twist to the already fragile situation, North Korea issued a warning to foreigners in South Korea to take evacuation measures in case of war.

Pyongyang has been making combative threats against South Korea, Japan, and the US bases in the Korean peninsula.

On it's part, Japan is taking measures to protect its citizens. "The government is making utmost efforts to protect out people's lives and ensure their safety." Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said.
