I am a prospective architecture student and hope to work in civil engineering or oil and gas firm. I need professional advice on how possible it will be. Any professional certification?

An architect can work anywhere because buildings are required virtually in every aspect but then, they must require your services before you will be needed. Usually Architects run consultancy services and hardly into paid employment aside architectural firms, altho there are some exceptions.
