The outgoing Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Mohammed Uwais, yesterday in Katsina accused the country’s leaders of docility. He also accused them of accepting ”anything imported” into the country. Uwais, who made the accusation at the 60th anniversary celebration of the Arabic Teachers College, Katsina, advised the leaders to analyse every ideology before introducing it into the polity.

He said government policies and programmes failed because of ”our religious and cultural values.” Uwais, represented by the former Chief Judge of the FCT, Justice Bashir Sambo, said: ”The nation’s leaders must recognise the fact that they represent the people’s interests and mandate. ”Majority of Nigerians have the right to be fully informed before any matter is accepted into the polity.” He also called on traditional rulers to always be in the vanguard of the advancement of the public cause. In his remarks at the occasion, the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Muhammadu Kabir, called on Muslims and adherents of other religions to continue to pray for the well-being of the nation.

I could care less what the northern leaders thought about anything. They hold the majority of the blame for the wrecking of the economy. Also, they are not contributing anything to the betterment of the nation. Unless ofcourse it is go on mass murder over Dutch cartoons. Maybe they should leave the union, eh?

Afeni, it is not wrong to judge the utterances of the Chief Justice of the Federation on the basis of his tribe. If a northern leader says something sensible, I am ready to listen, though that is not the case this time.

I do not think I am old enough to be outgoing in any sphere of life. If I remember correctly Justice Muhammad Uwais
has always been a justice since the day I was born, he should thank Allah he was not struck down by some incurable disease for spending his entire lifetime without impacting anything he can point a finger at. (Honestly what has he done outside his territory?)

Every time I hear gossips (that is what I call it) as this. I remember it is near-time for elections, those bastards in Diaspora and political exile will come up with chicken-scratch-manifestos about why they want to be this and that, and we start seeing how much lobbying money can go around.

Hmmm, on this naija forum alone, I can swear my docile life that there are more than enough brains/talent/will/good nature to magically pull this our cripple, Hippopotamus-Flying elephant from the putrid swamps of suicidal ignorance and stupidity.

The problems continually burdening this nation has nothing to do with its out-and-out over-zealous leaders (religious and political) or its poorly-purposed ethnic clubs (Afenifere, Odua, OPC, Arewa and so forth), or its overly charismatic amazon.com juju pastors and child-molesting; beer-drinking imans; neither does it have anything to do with corruption (for lack of a better; more appropriate word), it definitely has nothing to do with MEND and the Niger Delta Question or even Oil. (After all, we are not the only ones with oil). Finally, it has nothing to do with our Nobel prize-winning braniacs whose contribution to life in naija is one sagely sentence to show opposition. (Una go die this year insha Allah)

Je**#z Fu$^kng-Age. Ch*$st it has nothing to do with the West and their capitalists reforms and economic-enslavement policies. (Everybody must survive; too bad you are the one with the poor comparative advantage)

In every month (I swear) I meet more than 3 different persons (accidentally) I could have sworn can individually impact on this country's progress,  but sadly, they are in such a poor position, to begin to think of how they can best position their ideas for physical manifestation is more than Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) coming to the proverbial mountain. He would fu&$%n need more than Moses’ Miracle rod to bring a drop of progress from such talents, Why, Why, WHyYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Here is why. (From my frustrated angst"ed" mood)
1: People in the CJ's age bracket (Pre Independence/Post Civil war) who have seen the consequences of their action (inaction) -->Post Military-Era/Post June 12/Post Democracy, have always dictated What/How/Why Nigeria is.

2: Youths like us spend our entire life on self-improvement and other worthy causes (that typically cannot affect What/How/Why in Naija)

3: The Masses who cannot afford to lift their dreams beyond akara and akamo simply look on (sufferin n smiling)

In the end, it is YOU my "in-another-dimension" friend that is the problem. Youths like us who sit all day in forums, office jobs, and internet cafes and coders sitez.

We are the real problem; we are so docile to the changes that need to be done at the right levels (the political level)
We sit back and build our high-winding technologies and business ideas only to feel frustrated the country has barely come out of the middle of the swamp.

We are the docile ones not our leaders,  they are just senile, pornogra"cious" bent-over oldmen whose only ideas come from youths like us.

We are the ones who are not doing anything about this country's progress

I think I am spent, hope I did not break the rules (i am sure i was off-topic,  oh well)

As for the out-going CJ, he and his friends should go lick a ripe lemon and die of Leukemia of the nether regions and soo very soon (so i can claim to be an old man myself)
