Course Description:

This is an intensive practical workshop for aspiring and practising film and television actors or anyone who is interested in acting. It is also a class for stage actors who want to move to acting for screen.

definition, form and style
• The Actor Prepares
• The Actor as a Brand
• Script Interpretation
• STOP, Listen, Follow…the Actor and the Director
• Relating with the set
• Relating with the camera
• Characterisation
• Relating with Other Actors
• Method Acting and Other Acting Techniques
• Talent Vs Research
• Speech and Diction
• Heart, Soul, Spirit and Depth….Concentration!
The workshop will include lectures, practical exercises and personal experiences from core professional in an all-inclusive style.

Format:

The workshop requires commitment from participants as it will run for 24 hours from Tuesday to Thursday.

Participants who complete the training will be given a certificate at the end of the workshop.


Limited space available to participants on first-come-first-served basis.

Workshop fee is N15, 000 only

Lunch will be served.

Workshop will run from 9am to 5pm everyday from 20th to 22th May, 2008.

Pick up forms at 44A Marwa Gardens, Alausa Ikeja.

Forms are to be returned with a 5x7 photograph.

Certificates will be given to participants who complete the workshop.
