Watching this video now makes me very angry that a once respected country called Nigeria has now become a pariah. Look at the complete ceremony put up at the airport just to receive Tafawa Balewa. The US Vice President at the time, Lyndon Johnson received him at the airport. Americans line the streets waving at the Prime Minister.Our leader addressed the US Congress.Can we boast of that kind of reception now? Our president would probably be met at the airport by the Assistant Senior Deputy Secretary of State. Where did Nigeria go wrong?
