I find this interesting from Bro Olamide.....The real bitter truth! If football were 2 be academic institutions in Nigeria. ARSENAL=UNILORIN: where the students work hard thru out the year bt fail to succeed. MAN-CITY= OOSU/LAUTECH: where the students purchase all expensive items nd live large bt are neva interested in their primary assignment. LIVERPOOL= OAU- IFE: where the students are very much proud of the academic achievements of their grandfathers. MAN- U = UNIBEN: where students dont perform well in class except their final exams nd achieve gud results. CHELSEA = UNILAG: where students fail nd put the blame on their VC, after which the govt will intervene 2 find a new VC 4 d skul evry year. REAL- MADRID = AAU where students think they perform best and keep beefing the best students of other skuls. Finally, BARCA = FUTMINNA: where students work hard, perform well in class and achieve best result in the whole country. Greatest Nigerian Students!!!! Greatest FUTMITE. I love my skul and I am proud to be a FUTMITE... No beef 3 Likes |

[b]OUR ENGINEERING PROGRAMMES ARE THE BEST IN NIGERIA- VC (FUTminna) The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Musbau Adewumi Akanji, FNSBMB, has reiterated the institution’s glowing prowess in the field of engineering by stating that its engineering programmes are the best in Nigeria based on facilities, quality of faculty staff, research and content. The VC made this known recently when he received the executive members of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) Minna Branch, who paid him a courtesy call on Tuesday, July 29, 2013 at the Council Chamber, Main Campus. Prof. Akanji said that the institution’s Engineering programmes have been adjudged as the best by National Universities Commission (NUC) and Council for the Registration of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) with full accreditation status. “In recognition of our strength in engineering courses, the institution has been approached through the Federal Executive Council to assist University of Abuja Engineering students to complete their studies”, Prof. Akanji added. NSE President, Engr. Hassan Chado commended the institution for the quality of its engineering graduates which according to him are contributing greatly in various sectors of the country development and urged the VC to support more of its members who are staff of the University in attending workshops that would enhance their skills. Breaking News : ASUU FINALLY SUSPENDS STRIKE ... After a crucial meeting held at Abuja today, the National President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, (ASUU) Dr. Nasir Fagge said the federal government and the union have finally reached a compromise and the strike has finally been called off sequel to the fact that their needs have been met by the federal government. He urged students to go back to their various schools and start work, and also lamented that the lecturers should resume work too but they should not teach the students until Kano Pillars wins UEFA Champions Leauge . In his final statement,he said students should go and learn a trade and leave ASUU and FG alone to continue their SEASON FILM ... Enjoy Ur dai! |
