Religious Nigerians here bash atheists and secularism but they would praise God and give testimonies when they get visas to secular countries where atheism is on the rise. You cant fly to london on holiday from Lagos during christmas or summer without a full plane of Nigerians.

Nigeria is my homeland but it is filled with fools who are being slapped about by religious leaders. Nigeria has more churches than schools. Before you take a minute walk you will hear "praise jesus" blasting out of some rediculously loud loud speakers. Such is the level of brainwash in that country.

Of course the country is cursed with religion. Look at how much the pastors own in their bank accounts e.g Deeperlife pls,Christ embassy LTD. etc. If pastors could become enormously rich among poor Nigerians,that gives room for Nigerians abroad to do the same. Take for example in the wild, Lions are few and the wild beasts are in millions. That means a lot of meat for the lions to feed on. In fact more lions will come from abroad. That is the state of Nigeria.

Nigeria is a secular country because both Christmas and Sallah celebrations and other religious festivals are covered and approved by the constitution. That alone gives Nigeria the secular quality of religion neutrality.

Infact, Nigeria is more secular than United states where Muslims celebrate their festivals in low profile for fear of attacks from the Islam hating white majority, in spite of being protected by the first amendment.
