How can you Reckon God's calling

here:

1) what is God calling you to?
2) Where is this calling
3) How did you come to know about "the calling"?
4) What is God calling you to do? God does everything with a purpose in mind. Has He revealed to you his purpose?
5) Is the calling according to God's word, why i said so, is because some ppl deceive themselves and say "im called by God etc, and God didnt call them"
6) Are you ready if truly God is calling you? It will entail sacrifice, denial etc, are you ready?

Af far as i know, God's call could either be ''death'' or Pastoral stuff'' as in priesthood and stuff so which one are U referring to??

- what makes you feel/believe that God might be calling you? do you have compassion for lost sinners in your heart? has He given you a message? has He promised to back you up?

yeah , thanks for the URL, its motivating, I ask this quest coz, when am in da church and the choir members are singing, i always see myself sing in the spirit, but i cant join the choir, anything i do, my mind will be @ the choir choir choir choir, i think i have some feelings that i am not making use of the talent in me,

Do u hear from God? if u have been hearing from God, it will be very easy to understand God's calling and his will.So cultivate an habit of hearing from God, if u haven't been.

Well, perhaps we shouldn't be looking at the issue from just one
perspective. God calls people in various ways to serve in varying
aspects and situations. It's true one has to hear the calling from
the Caller Himself, and that can take any of several forms.

With Paul it was first a clear but dramatic call to salvation, which
was later followed by a call to ministry, and then the call to do so
in a particular place - Macedonia.

   Salvation - Acts 9:1-18

   Ministry - Acts 13:1-5

   Macedonia - Acts 16:6-10.

With some others, however, it may not be so dramatic, as was in
Timothy's case. He was serving in close tutelage under the apostle
Paul, who subsequently recognized that the former was gifted but
needed encouragement to use his gifts (see 2 Tim. 1:6-7).

With yet some others, the gifts may be in the ministry of songs, of
caring for others, children ministry, etc. I know of someone who
clearly showed signs of the gift of teaching: the more he exercised
his teaching gift in helping people understand the Word, he was
soon recognized as a teacher - and he has been growing stronger
ever since, that now he has naturally become a pastor with an
admirable calling.

Do you feel led to participate in the ministry of songs? Or of some
other aspect of service? Take it to God, and then faithfully pursue
your persuasion until God will make it apparent before all that you
are particularly called to a service.

Hearing God is an everyday habit that one has to cultivate. God speaks to different people via different media. For example, God spoke to Joseph the husband of Mary,joseph the son of jacob,jacob etc thru dreams. some were thru open vision like moses, peter, ezekiel etc .some thru audible voice, the like of samuel,moses etc.
anyway, God speaks to us most time thru more than one means, so it will take u to study urself to find out how he speak to u. one thing that is sure is that u will know his voice when he speak because he said, his sheeps knows his voice. he also said those that l lead by the spirit of God are son of God, so as l child of God u will know is voice.
A very good way to confirm that is God that is speaking is by examine the voice and making sure it tallies with God's Word , it must not be out of context with his word.
God speaks to everybody is just that we are always too busy to hear him, must of us are more of matter and not Mary.
the catalyst for hearing constantly from God is by obeying the ones he has spoken.
