The embattled Senator who failed to secure the ticket of PDP as the Court and NWC of PDP affirmed Comrade Tony Nwoye as the party flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party in Anambra State has turned to UPP to get the party ticket to contest the election.

The meeting which was held early this week has the Senators younger Brother Chris Uba and the Founder of the Party chief Chekwas Okorie in attendance.

For Senator Uba to be substituted as the candidate of the party,UPP is demanding 1. 3 Billion from the Uba camp whereas the Senator is bidding for 100 Million. Amongst other requirements demanded from UPP includes

1. That Andy Uba should pay a total of 1. 3 Billion Naira
2. That Andy Uba should pay for a well furnished National Secretariat for UPP
3. That Andy Uba should pay for all UPP ward offices in Anambra State
4. That Andy Uba should get an undertaking from a competent court that he will not tamper with the existing structures in UPP
5. That Andy Uba shuld sign an undertaking that he will not leave the party after the election
6 That Andy Uba should write an acceptance letter acknowledging his suspension from PDP
7. That Andy Uba should pay the state excos of UPP the sum of 67 Million Naira

The duo of Uba brothers,Senator Andy Uba and Chris Uba promised to get back to the party with the requirements on Friday 13th of September,2013
