Are they going to be another graduation list because someone I know has finished all her course work and have the results, only the thesis result is yet to be uploaded and whenever she call school they will tell her that her result is ready but since then it's hasn't reflected on the portal, what could be the problem. And her name isn't on the 2 lists released this February.

Hi @Enskynelson,

Please can I ask 2 questions?

1. How long from when they upload your project for moderation on the portal do people usually get feedback?

2. How long from when you submit your seminar paper do they usually schedule people for presentations?

Thanks

1. There is a general timetable for moderation and defense. It doesn't matter when it was uploaded. Let it just be uploaded before the time for moderation and defense. The last moderation/defense was December/January/February.
I know u have the reason for asking this question. Give the details.

2. Seminar presentation is arranged by the study centre and it's not a nationwide timetable-based exercise. Usually before exams. Do well to find out from your study centre.

Those are practical courses. The TMAs are practicials that you have to prepare at designated place. Lagos, Kano, Abuja, Enugu (not sure) etc are some of the locations.

You can decide to forfeit the 7500 paid for the PGDE while you pay another 5000 for the undergraduate programme

This need you to provide more info if you really want better advice.
First, before anyone can advice you properly, you will have to provide more info eg. What are you doing right now, what career are you trying to pursue? What are your plans?
The answers are what can guide anyone to tell you what you need to do.

For MBA student that registered for seminar and project on the portal, what is the next step?

Regarding the seminar, is it that the management will organize a programme and invite all the people that registered for seminar or what is it about?

Someone should please give detailed response.

Last week, I did the Credentials documentation for PGD. When I informed someone about it,he told me I should have gone for Bsc. Edu. instead of PGD EDU. since then I have been in confusion.

Have you registered for the Exams? Those 6500 per course? If you have, no need to worry. But if you have not, register for the exams.

If you do PGD. Education then do M.Ed Education... won't you be qualified for the career? Go to the Study Centre and meet the Student Counselor but I think with PGD. Education, if you can proceed with M.Ed Education, you can still meet up.
For B.Sc Ed, most of the courses there doesn't have HND requirement. It means you will likely start from 100L and that will be four years. After the B.Sc. Ed, you will be required to proceed with M.Ed unless you just want to be a class teacher and not a lecturer. Please, meet up with the Study Centre counselor for proper guide.

The 13th Convocation Ceremony of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is scheduled to hold between April 12 - 13, 2024, according to an announcement from the Registrar of the university, Mr. Oladipo Ajayi.

The announcement said the ceremony will hold both on-site and off-site as those billed to attend the on-site event were urged to be seated before 9am at the university’s Convocation Arena, Jabi, Abuja.

The Convocation Lecture, which will hold on April 12 by 11am, is to be delivered by the Vice-Chancellor, Open University of Tanzania, United Republic of Tanzania, Prof. Elifas Tozo Bisanda, on the topic: “Is Western Education Still Relevant for Africa?”

It added that only first-class graduands, first-degree graduands in the study centres of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), PGD, award winners, masters degrees, doctorates degree graduands and honourary doctorate degrees are to attend the on-site ceremony at the university headquarters.

The ceremonies will be preceded by an Investiture of His Majesty, Omo N’ Oba N’Edo Uku’ Akpolokpolo Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin, as Chancellor of the university on Thursday, April 11, 2024 by 12noon at the university’s Convocation Arena, Jabi, Abuja.

does this mean no more graduation list again to look out for?

I think I should go ahead with this PGD, because of its duration later I would know what to do. I really want to go higher in education line.

All you need is an evidence of application for transcripts because they know it could take sometime before the HQ receives your transcripts. So, go and apply for the transcripts. Get evidence of application eg. Receipts of payment. Present that during documentation and you will be cleared.
