there are differeces. Chemistry student take mostly CHM,BIO and CSE courses . While ChE student take EEE,MEE,CSE,MGS,CVE,even CHM ,CHE courses

Yes Chemistry graduates work with Oil Companies. NNPC for instance posts them to refineries, Research and Development (R &D) and some of d other subsidiaries put them in HSE.
