My thought exactly. If 2014 offers me something fantastic, I would definitely take NEBOSH!

I kinda love safety and first got insight when an ex student of my school delievered some paper presentation on "No Time Loss..."

last I heard a fellow friend did was around 250k.

P.S: Imag5, I respect your zeal to carry everyone along. May God bless you and strengthen you in all your endevours.

Imagine if we had 20 professionals coming on to help with useful self-developmental tips.

God bless you bro.

Nawao, for me HSE 2 and 3 is ok, I don't really want to practice full time, I love my Geophysics, petrophysics, reservoir engineering. and remote sensing/GIS. my first seminar was on remote sensing, I loved it, my hod wants to help publish it, the imagery and pixels were already processed by nasdra, abuja. my friend just got his first job with CB geophysical solutions PH, its a new firm, the owners worked with schlumberger Nigeria, UK and US for up to 20years, they can back home to start the firm. Congratr to him o o o.

Am a graduate of Geology from The Polytechnic, Ibadan ... The various field geologist, geophysicist can work are numerous ranging from environmental analyst/geologist, risk assessment(environmental protection), software development, geotechniques (road, building), boreholes, waste and water treatment n management, oil and gas ( where we all look forward to) ... The most important thing is proper orientation about this field and hw we fit into each as well as links to getting jobs in dis field...
I really appreciate the work of the person who started this trend buh I must say we really have alot to know about in terms of what is being discussed on the required HSE cert also, IADC rig pass n BOSIET is anoda areas we need to look at for oil and gas ... I hav identify two probs 1. Information 2. Finance
I knw some of us here can actually help and compliment more of that imag65( ?) Is doing... Link us to get good jobs and give us more info on where we can look, mining is anoda area whr we av very few professionals.
Am unemployed buh hopefully soon,God will link me ... Kindly help us get there

[b]Ever heard about IPM Suite for petroleum Engineers, Geologist, Geophysicist? Thats what the BIG Guys in the industry work with.

The IPM suite of tools which includes GAP, PROSPER, MBAL, PVTP, REVEAL and RESOLVE can be run together seamlessly, allowing the engineer to design complete field models. The models can include the reservoir tanks, all the wells and the surface gathering system. IPM can model and optimise the production and the water or gas injection system simultaneously. With the Reservoir, Wells and Complete Surface Systems model completed and the production history matched, the production system can be optimised and production forecasts run.

The unique global optimisation approach permits the engineer to determine the optimum setting to maximum production or revenue, taking account of all constraints that are set in the system. These results can then be used to implement adjustments at the field level to achieve the optimisation goals.

There are literally several thousand fields worldwide having their production managed and optimised using IPM. All common naturally flowing well configurations, including multi-lateral, whether naturally flowing or with artificial lift can be modelled and optimised together.

With the use of RESOLVE and OpenServer the IPM approach has been extended to connecting the PETEX software to third party software such as Reservoir Simulators and Process Simulators. These products form a suite of complementary tools assisting engineers to improve their reservoir simulations by describing and modelling a production system more accurately.

For more details and to register for a Hands-on Training on the use and application of IPM suite, Contact us at DGR consult .
