As vote time is approaching, these are the questions we need to ponder on.

How many people can a person nominate? (1, 2 or more?)
What members can be nominated? (active, old, newly registered etc)
Can people nominate themselves? (Self-nomination)
How many nominees should be selected for vote for each award category (2 or more?)
Re: End Of Year Awards Organisation Thread. Panel Members Only by AlfaSeltzer(m): 10:01am On Oct 17, 2013
Ok. It's vote time on item 3.

Please vote on these suggestions.

A: How many people can a person nominate? 1 or 2
B: What membes can be nominated? Active members registered before 01/10/2013 or members active for more than 3 months.
C: Can people nominate themselves? Yes or no.
D: How many nominees should be selected for vote in each category? 2 or 3

Even though we are a team and the majority have voted, I wish to register my dissatisfaction with the five award category thingy. We will move ahead but let it be on record that I am completely dissatisfied.

Alfa Seltzer:

I am thinking, the 2 members with most nominations in each category will stand up for vote.

As for the bolded, we are a team here and as a team we adopted 5 awards. Even though some of us were against it, I think it is better if we work as a group once something has been adopted and not leave it for those that voted it as if we have factions here. Let's try and work together on this thing. Ok?
ok embarassed

But I dont have any new suggestions for 4 and 5.

Mr Troll: ...And Pagan9ja didn't vote.

His vote wont change the outcome. It's a pity that he has limited participation on this.

Before we go to item 4, can we please decide on which awards to give?

Here is the standing proposition for now, by macof.

1 - Best poster for the year
2 - Best christian poster
3 - Best Non-christian religious poster
4 - Best thread
5 - Best Irreligious poster

I have no problem with it.
Re: End Of Year Awards Organisation Thread. Panel Members Only by Nobody: 12:40pm On Oct 17, 2013

Re: End Of Year Awards Organisation Thread. Panel Members Only by Nobody: 2:16pm On Oct 17, 2013
I vote Yes to macof proposition

unto the who can nominatfe...
I believe everhybody can because a new member might see a post e/she likes and decide to nominate people...
So i choose everybody
Re: End Of Year Awards Organisation Thread. Panel Members Only by macof(m): 2:21pm On Oct 17, 2013
Everybody can nominate
Re: End Of Year Awards Organisation Thread. Panel Members Only by MrTroll(m): 3:03pm On Oct 17, 2013
I agree to Macofs suggestion.

As to who can nominate, I propose that only religion section regulars nominate, at least the poster should have made up to 30 posts in the religion section. This is to prevent people registering new monikers just for nominations sake or getting their friends from other sections to nominate them.
Re: End Of Year Awards Organisation Thread. Panel Members Only by Ishilove: 3:04pm On Oct 17, 2013
I vote no to macof's proposition
