We are working in phases. Some phase depends on others. We are currently working on the level design for the barracks which requires level designers and modelers. The game starts at the barracks. kenni story contribution starts at the barrack. So, we are still on point.

If people think the story is unacceptable, we scrap it. This is the time we can be as flexible as we want with how the story starts or ends as long as it starts from the barrack

@jjk24...common subset meaning certain similarities in syntax....d language has support for some nice programming styles...and d bulk of it is simple to understand ...so anyone cna learn it....d scripting interface i will release should b very 'common sense'

Hi guys firstly,I'd like to state state that I own those two monikers ie petereddy and peterjosh
So which of the story lines are we going with?
We really need to make a decision out rightly so that the game's progress won't be halted again.
Are we going with this new and real Goatee story or with our Goatee in his dream land?
For me I think we should blend the stories together but goatie should still be a dreamer. We can bring in more scenes if this new story and the previous ones are properly blended. I would work on the story blend as soon as possible.
@Dueal can u recommend some aids as to studying this Lua language for me?

ANIMALS REVOLT
THE ESCAPE
Goatie is in a shed chewing d churd in a normal goats resting position on a hot afternoon. He wanders off into dreamland where the real game is. In his dream...............
Goatie with his family consisting of Bellie and two kids had been billed for the forth coming christmas celebration. So Mr Goatie had been thinking of all available means of escape all to no avail. Though his children were not tied but his wife was tied besides him. When the butcher came around three days before christmas to kill Goatie in order to entertain his league of vistors,he had chosen Goatie's meat for the party. As he was about to loosen Goatie,smartly he wriggles his way out and he immediately releases his wife and the run begins. Their aim was to seek asylum with their mountain ancestors and unleash a freedom mission on other animals held in captivity.
Unfortunately his wife and children were captured and taken into custody
REUNION
On reaching the mountain region,he was welcomed and he told his friend about his plans and a consensus was reached with other animals. His plan was to rescue other animals and by so doing man would have no meat for christmas. Also he wanted liberation and freedom for animals too. They set out a working plan for the next day,other animals would be freed and they would help them to the mountain. During the morning plans were perfected,in their plans they would allow the bees to cause confusion and to incur pain on anyone trying to block their way. The operation would be carried out in the night.
The operation was successful and with the use of crude tools and the bees biological weapons,victory was ensured but it came with a lot of casualties.
The population of the animals grew and training started for the invasion of military barracks so as to gather arms for their cause.
INFILTRATION
Goatie led the invasion of the central military barrack where they were gather mounds of arms and ammunition
RESCUE
Goatie was disturbed about his wife's location and he got information from freed military dogs that his wife is being held as an hostage and a release would be publish for negotiation on the eve of christmas. Goatie took a bold step and a team of 6animals were to search and rescue his wife from the new military location in the night. They set out in the night and the military general escaped with his wife by a this hair's breath,fleeing to some underground bunkers.
Unfortunately one of his kid had being killed and used for isi-ewu delicacy. He was furious and nervous
UNIFICATION WAR
Goatie was saddened and perturbed because of his failed mission to compound it all up,the foxes and dogs began to make jest of his failure. Hell broke loose and fighting started between the animals,this time not with a gun. Its was bloody but this fight was necessary for their unification. Order was restored by tortoise and everything was settled.
RESCUE 2
This time without fail,the got back Bellie and kiddie Goatie's only surviving child but General Gwon escaped. General Gwon is the main protagonist in this game.
RETALIATION
Things were fast happening and the animals seems to be ahead of the humans,the humans invade the mountain settlement of the animals. It was a fierce battle but nothing resulted from it and the animals protected their hood with every ounce of energy in them
FINAL WAR
Seeing that the animals front are becoming depleted and unsuccessful. The animals decided to take a decision in which the would claim mans habitat/homes for themselves. This thrilled all the animals,infact life on this mountain was horrible. The thought of getting better homes spurred them on. Goatie took his revenge on General Gwon after a fierce battle between the animals and humans at the market square. Animals purged the remaining human population out of their homes into the mountain caves and it was the best moment for the animals,to live a luxury life.... Yippeeeeeee
THE END
Goatie wakes up from his fantasy land to find the butcher's knife already at his neck region.......

OBJECTIVE
1.To escape the harmful treatment domestication of animals by man,despite supplying them mutton all year round and highly nutritious goat's milk,man still treated them harshly
2.To create a unified animals kingdom
3.Freedom and liberty for all animals

The entire goatie's family b killed to give him more rage and will power
The dogs shld oppose goatie's plan (u kno dogs being man's bst frnd tins) and also since dogs a re nt widely eaten lyk goats (which gvs d story tougher structure)the humans then use d dogs 2 hunt goatie but in a meeting goatie tries to convince thedogs dat som humans actualy eat dem but the dog leader bruno didnt beleive him and tld goatie dat they'll do evrytin to help the humans hunt and kill dem all but goatie reminds himdat if d humans do n find any animal 2 eat then they'll turn to dogs for meat but bruno ignores it and calls it trash until....THE BETRAYAL, one day the humans were hunting goatie they were in need of food(meat) and they made the mistake of killing 2 dogswhich caused an uproar among d dogs wen the case was taken to bruno he still wasnt convinced until he heard dat another dog was bucherd by d humans and it was his brother then the dogs started whether to fight or not by then the war has already began and wen it seemed lyk d humans were winning the bruno blew the trumpet of war and the dogs turned against d humans and the already weak goatie started fighting again and won....somtin lyk dat
Oh and for the end part goatie as he was shouting and raising his hand as per victory suddenly... His head started jerking and he heard himself bleating den he woke up to see the blade causing d jerking at his throat and den he weeped nd died

ANIMALS REVOLT GAME STORY
Mr kenikazi have organized that post into a structured game story which could be easily understood and programmed by the game developers.
SETTING
There would be two locations in Animals Revolt, namely:
A Not-So-Developed place called “The Town”: this would comprise mainly of low-level, hungry looking farmers, traders etc. Its buildings would consist of mainly bungalows and a very few duplex buildings. The game would also have a hilly topography; this would be of help in missions given in the game.
A Dirty, Crowded place called “The City”: this would look like a typical middle-class to low-class Nigerian town. Having a majority of apartment houses of different kinds and shape and normal animals seen in a Nigerian town.

GRAND STORYLINE
The grand storyline behind ANIMALS REVOLT is about a goat who is gets a chance to be a free animal and live a life free of his masters in the wild. There, he falls in love with another female goat, who is to be captured and sold to the city later in the game.
In the bid to rescue the female goat he so loves, and defend the freedom of animals, Goatee, with the help of several domestic animals goes to war against their masters who are humans. Can Goatee achieve this magnanimous task? Only the player of the game can answer that.

EXPALIANATION OF EACH MISSION
Don’t Get Lost: here Goatee is still a young, naïve goat who is hated by Pa Kilo, his master. Here, Pa Kilo sells Goatee for a ridiculous price to Chief, who is the head of The Town. The mission here is to carefully follow the Chief to his car, Don’t Get Lost!
Run! Run! Run! : Its Chief birthday and Goatee is to be the meat in the soup. One of Chief’s servants carelessly ties Goatee by the side to go and sharpen his knife. This is Goatee chance! The mission here is for Goatee to escapes Chief’s compound and Run! Run! Run!
Welcome to the Wild: Goatee has escaped from Chief’s compound and wanders off to the wild. There he finds other animals who are free from human masters. The mission here is to simply follow Smallie, the head of the free animals back to camp.
1st Training, 2nd Training, 3rd Training: these missions are created to enable the player get used to various keys needed in the game. Here Goatee gets trained to walk on two legs, use knives, and use guns. The missions could be petty missions like stealing food, breaking into houses, gathering ammunition etc. And this is where he gets to save Bellie.
These three missions are completely open to further contributions and discussions.
Chase the Humans: Here the free animals’ community is giving the humans trouble; as a result, an Anti-Animal Squad has been formed to capture any stubborn or free animal. Also, Bellie and Goatee already like each other and on one of their petty stealing missions, Bellie gets caught by the squad and is being dragged away. The mission here is to try and chase down the car Bellie was put into, but your effort would be futile and Bellie would be carried away.
Get Better Guns: the Anti-Animal Squad is boosting up there game and are transporting heavy ammunition to their barracks. Your mission here is to intercept the transportation and transfer the ammunitions to your animal camp.
Free Food for Everyone: in the bid to also boost up your game, the mission here is to attack Chief’s big farm and collect the day’s harvest.
First Animal Attack: also in the bid to boost up your game, the mission here is for Goatee and other animals to attack a small group of anti-animal squad militia and take over that area.
Save Ewu: Ewu is the new goat Chief bought to be slaughtered. Goatee couldn’t bear the fact that his fellow Goat is about to be killed. Here the mission is to attack Chief’s house, rescue Ewu, and interrogate Chief!
The Barracks: from the interrogation, it is observed that all captured animals, including Bellie are being held captive in the barracks. The mission here is to perform a stealth attack on barracks in an effort to rescue the captured animals and Bellie. This mission doesn’t go smoothly, some animals including Smallie get killed and Bellie is not found in the Barracks. She has been sold to The City!
Bellie in the City: Goatee has to save Bellie and hands over leadership of the animal camp to Ewu inorder to go and save Bellie in The City but didn’t find Bellie. Here the mission is to avoid being captured, free some animals in the city (eg. Dogs), and form a strong animal army.
Free Animals Under Attack! : Here the players plays as Ewu, Goatee close friend and tries his best to defend the animal camp but dies in the process.
WAR! : Goatee has heard is home is under attack and returns with his army to wage war against the humans. Here the mission is to first recover his camp, then re-capture Chief, and finally destroy the Barracks and capture Butcher.
