Yeah, its still there Jivi, I am yet to absorb the idea of Goatee being a badass from day one, I have written so many different stories for Animals Revolt where it all starts at the Barracks; but they don't just look right. In every game I have played, there is always a small start, from where the player can get to actually grow with the game protagonist until both the game protagonist and the player become bad asses together. But the story I am being asked to write seems just vague . Now, if Goatee was to be a badass from the beginning, and the game should start from the barracks:

Who did Goatee belong to and how did the Barracks where they imprison animals come about?
What was Goatee motivation to escape, or how did he enter the Barracks?
When Goatee escaped, where did he go to?
How did Goatee learn how to walk on two legs, if in the mountains? It would be after Goatee escaped the Barracks, meaning Goatee isn't a Badass yet?
Now, from your ideas, there would be a total of four goats, including Bellie, making them five. Would the game be mainly on Goats or animals in general?
And finally, is the name of the game Animals Revolt or Goats Revolt?
If these issues are solved, then a clean game story would be born

@ken...i understand u perfectly. even wit this new art for goaty he looks too...mutated....if he was an alien goat or a goat from a crazy experiment gone wrong then i will find it fitting for him to look dis way...and yes...d story doesnt now fit d art style...so a change definitly is needed

The Game revolves around goats but also includes other animals.
Dont worry about the story. I will help you with it.

Huhhhh !! Where r we guys!! Jivi is dealin with d story dueals gnna release d game engine demo !!! Story line (brief) goatie was a trouble some. And stubborn goat living in the wild 1 day he meets belie and faalls in love dah made him weak and some weeks later they where captured by mr james( rears animals and Christmas is comin) goatie and belie r separated ... Day b4 christmas goatie is sold buh escapes from the buyers building(the dream as started if u knw wah I mean!)... Goatie runs till he reached a mountain he is captured by the mountain goats and animals ( the mountain animals has formed a rebellion against the humans and they captured goatie finkin he is a spie) goatie had 2 tell his story 2 d mountain animals and he is givin a chance 2 join them .. B4 goaties arrival the mountain animals leader (wahs his name agn)as bein captured . (all the above r told through cut scenes)1st mission (which we r nw working on!"The barracks and. Stuff)goatie and the mountain animals goes to rescue the leader and to knw the where about of other captured animals during d raids b4 goaties arrival.... TBContinued... is dis ok!?

whats happening now? whats the time warp for? Is this an idea for goat's revolt?

Halo whatz happenin...why are we suddenly dumping the inhouse game engine?
Or is d idea to pre test with unity before using d inhouse...?

i raised this issue in page 6 but was shunned down. Now it's happening. i know it's very hard for someone to just give out his model(architectural models sells for tens of thousands If you know the market) let alone a game engine. But i was shunned down as he it was a non issue, now everyone is holding up and dueal is now suggesting the unity engine he's vehemently against before. Game design is not just about name dropping. We can still do something by keeping all those models on a cloud storage facility like mediafire or google drive for nairalanders that are organised enough to produce a game with or maybe for the future when we are ready.

Have u guys heard of neoAxis game engine... It now has a superb free edition that has pretty much all the tools u need for ur game project. Personally I've not tried it cause I recently realized that they have released a free edition ( I knew it to be paid for). Maybe u guys should giv it a try

You can test on blender. This project will not die. I have been very busy lately in a way that is out of my control right now.

Well, let me not bit about the bush. Since most people prefer unity. Let us go with unity. I have the complete game story plan for the first level. I will acquire all character animation and weapons animations- military shooting, jumping, running etc.

lets use a proxy(substitute) for the character in the games for now. so, we can use humans models/animations in place of goats while the goat models are being designed. So, that would not be a stall.

First Mission

CutScene:

It was Christmas eve. Goatie is tired of the deaths. Goaties thought’s shows different goats and animals being slaughtered all through his life time. The day has finally come, the day Goatie feared the most, the day he was to become the Christmas Goat. But Goatie would have none of this. It is time the humans realized that Goats have a life and a dream too and those dreams did not include ending up in a hot pot of pepper soup.

Consequently, Goatie escaped on the day he was to be slaughtered and later returned to free the Goats. Soon, the angry and hungry humans came hunting after them. Knowing that their existence was under threat, the Goats knew they had to fight back and to do this. They needed weapons. Then, Goatie and his some of his men set out to the mission no man/animal alive in their worst dreams would ever dream of and that is invading a barrack with the most merciless soldiers there is that have a unique appetite for isi-ewu.

Mission One Begins

Main Mission: ACQUIRE MILITARY WEAPONS FROM THE BARRACK

Get to the Barrack

The barrack is heavily guarded by soldiers all over. Goatie and his men had to go through a shallow stream which passes beside the barrack walls with a canoe to get anywhere close. They got close and there they met soldiers and the battle began. They fought soldiers upon soldiers acquiring their weapons on the way in. Finally, they got into the barrack and they divided amongst themselves the other goats had to go and get the weapons while goatie and gwon-gwon distracted the soldiers.

Distract the Soldiers

They fought endlessly while the other goats acquired most of the weapons. Then, they arrived at the weapon storage and realized that some of the goats were sieged in the weapon storage. They had to defeat the army in the weapon storage to get the sieged goats out.

Get the Sieged animals out

Finally, as the goats escaped, they let their quard down for a minute and the Col. Okoro shot Gwon Gwon dead and he also tried killing Goatie and the rest but they luckily escaped to safety and the Colonel asked lesser ranked soldier to take the Goat to the Chef to prepare Isi-Ewu. Goatie overhead and would have none of it. Gwon-gwon was a patriotic Goat who fought for the right of the animals and should not end up as food in human’s belly. Goatie dispatched the other animals and went alone to retrieve Gwon-Gwon for burial.


Main Mission: RETRIEVE GWON GWON’S BODY AND LEAVE THE BARRACK

Fight your way to the Cafeteria

Goatie fought through the cafeteria which was close by the Weapons storage and eventually retrieved Gwon gwon and set out to escape the barrack using a jet.


Escape From the Pursuing Soldiers

Col. Okoro and his men mount their respective jets and went after Goatie and they had some serious air battle which started by goatie having to dodge some difficult mountaineous terrain while escaping and they went higher in altitude above the mountains and that was when the real battle began.

Battle the Soldiers On Air

Goatie destroyed all of them and Col. Okoro ejected himself out when goatie fired destroyed his jet. Goatie returned to the troops as planned earlier.

Mission One Ends

So where is everi 1..... Xmas is here goatie will soon die peepz
