I have been helping a mechanic figure the problem with a Nissan A33 infiniti, after the timing chain got cut of was replaced along with some other things. Now the engine is back together its starting buy only one bank is producing spark.

Its a coil on plug system, the coil packs have been swapped with the other side and all of them worked, recently I told him to swap the cam sensors for ones known to be working but getting the sensors in Ibadan is proving difficult people seem not to know Mich about the car

its been scanned the camshaft position sensors are fine, but a trailer load of other fault codes. They were resolved one after the other then the culprit was found, the power transistor for the other bank on the ECU is gone, so the ECU was replaced and the new one programmed to the vehicle's security system. crank crank vroommmm its alive!!!! smooth running wow. it feels so good to get it up.

I'll just advice that when working on a car, the ignition modules be removed and stored safely, and to disconnect the ecu if possible until its time to couple everything back...
