What of those coming from Lagos and Abuja? Was it announced in Lagos too?

please this for Anambrarians to report the situation! All the Yorubas and housas and non indigene of the Anambra state should keep watch! As for me, am reporting live from Obosi, So far everywhere is calm and people are moving out to vote!

The 2013 Gubernatorial election in Anambra has been concluded here in Abuja.
We are awaiting the INEC Chairman to announce the results shortly.
Any other results forwarded to this 'centre of power' again from any part of the nation is null and void.

Well, I am not an anambarian but I think the people of anambra should know who can really transform their state from the state of bad to good . Irregardless of party u should all vote for brighter future. Wish u all the best.

It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes(collation centers) decide everything.

as of this morning, I have seen APGA mobilizers meeting opposite my house. These Apga guyz are desperate to win at all cost. i cqmt see much security on ground expect 4 one team of soliders that just drove by.

From what am seeing already, I have no doubt that APGA will win today..

Our Igwe in council just mobilized the youths, men, and women this early morning and hinted them that the party we are going to vote is APGA and there was great endorsement from the huge crowd
i wonder when traditional rulers whom we expected to be the great rulers turned out to become politicians

things are beginning to square up as APGA continue to pull weight, they are so far the most organized and are ready for battle. can see APC and LP looking for there men while students stands out to support Nwonye! I think the fun just started! reporting live from Obosi Anambra state!

Professional Experience
Chief Obiano started his banking career as Officer in First Bank in 1981 from where he moved to Texaco Nigeria Plc as a lead Accountant specializing inBunkering, Lube-blending and Refinery Audits. He was promoted 4 times in his eight-and-half-year-service at Texaco to become Chief Internal Auditor. Chief (Dr.) Willie Obiano was part of the team that audited Texaco Refinery in Rotterdam, Netherlands in 1989.

He joined Fidelity Bank from Texaco in 1991 as Deputy Manager and head of Audit. He was promoted Manager in 1991, Assistant General Manager in 1993, Deputy General Manager in 2000 and General Manager in 2002 and Executive Director in October, 2003. Between 1991 and 2002, he headed many key Groups and Divisions, at one point or another.

As Executive Director of the Mega Fidelity Bank (and No. 2 man), Chief Obiano was in charge of Business Banking (Corporate Banking, Non-Bank Financial Institutions, Treasury, (Naira and Foreign Exchange, Oil & Gas, Telecom & Food and Beverages, Transport and Aviation). All the Regional Managers of the bank reported through him to the MD/CEO.

Over the course of his successful career in Texaco and Fidelity Bank, He attended numerous banking and Ma.


Educational Profile
Chief Obiano was John F. Kennedy Essay Winner 1974 at CKC-Onitsha and holds a national Merit Certificate for outstanding service during his NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) in Benue State, Nigeria in the 1979/80 Service Year.

He holds a B.Sc. Second Class Upper in Accounting from University of Lagos (1979) and an MBA in Marketing also from the same university 1993. He is a Fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Donated food items, blankets, medical supplies, etc. worth millions of naira to 3 (three) camps set up by Anambra State Government for flood victims last year
