skin bleaching or whitening is the use of chemical substances in an attempt to lighten skin tone by lessening the concentration.
Several chemicals used in skin bleaching have proven to be toxic or have questionable safety profiles.Hardcore bleachers use illegal ointments containing mercury.
Everyone has a unique skin colour, either black or white,we were all made beautifully.
Nowadays, the idea of a beautiful woman is a light skin and men find light skinned women more attractive, so women are pressurized to bleach their skin simply for acceptance and marriage.Back then blacks bleached their skin to be accepted by the whites.Even men bleach their skin to look more attractive and more successful as people who are light skinned are considered to be more successful.
Mothers even bleach their children skin to achieve what?
Disadvantages of skin bleaching include: loss of skin elasticity, cancer, damaged skin, skin irritations, sunburn,in extreme cases the skin become multicoloured and marred with inflammation or scarring.
The  world health organisation (WHO), has said 77 percent of women in Nigeria use skin lightening products. Stop the act!
