I have a very close friend who works with an oil company here in Lagos as security (gate man) even though he is a university graduate. Before he got this job, he actually stayed at home for about 4 years and things were really rough with him. Somehow, one of the workers (a lady) fell in love with him and they have been dating steadily for some time now.

The problem is this, the lady wants him to resign his appointment so that they can get married regardless of whether he finds another job or not. But i have told my friend that leaving his job without finding another is a suicide mission considering his sufferings before he got this job, which of course virtually meets all his needs for now.

Please, i need your opinions or suggestions so that i could tell my friend.

I'm on your side as far as remaining gainfully employed. Now, I don't want to assume but I am suspecting that she wants him out of that position moreso for her own image since she also work at the job and will find it hard to present him in social circles. That is just practical and I will support her position on that. Bottom line, he needs another job that can sustain his needs and at same time makes him an asset in her social gathering. Anything else is risky!

D lady should assist d guy in getting another job else where, knowing she aint proud of his job. The guy needs anoda job or else na house boy get am.

i advice he has another job before he resigns. who is going to be the head of the home? after a while, if he has no job, the woman will be irritated with him and the sweet union will start turning sour. abeg! love needs money as 1 of the reqirements to make it work!!!
