A friend of mine have a white godmother and white godfather all very rich and they treat her like an egg ,now her white godmother wants to adopt her by the way she is now 28 yrs old and her godmother is 58 yrs and she has no kids,my friend is married and this woman has been there for her in everyway,her biogical mom dont care about her,apart from asking for money all time ,no momey no love etc

now there is a law in USA for Adult adoption and this white woman wants to adopt her and she is confused ,cos her biogical mom in nigeria will not sign off her right and she will dislike it, according to the adult adoption law she can still have her normal relationship with her families in nigeria,
i told her to go for it but she needs more advice on how to go with it,so your advice will help.

Why is the woman's mother against it?

I've heard of guys arranging adoption for themselves and paying through the nose, just to get papers.

This one is a genuine case, so it shouldnt be a big deal.The biological parents arent even there with her abroad, and she can go to see them whenever she wants.

besides, she may get some inheritance rights if they include her in their will.

anyway sha, maybe there's more to the story.

if i will be the mother i would be happy about it that is for sure , after 28year she want a new mother when the biological parents are alive, if is because of some inheritance that is very bad will she be happy if her child do the same thing to her?

At 28 yrs old i wonder why anyone will want to be adopted;when small children at 18 are dying to move out of the house and be free.
If its to inherit something from the white people that is just pure selfishness,.Getting adopted at 28 in my eyes is just blimey crazy !
