First of all, I want to apologise because I am not sure if this belongs to the Education or Computer Section but decided to post it here since it was about a university.

I was looking at babcock's department of Computer Science and Engineering and noticed that they offered three different Computer Science courses.

1. B.sc (Hons.) Computer Science
2. B.sc (Hons.) Computer Science (Technology)
3. B.sc (Hons.) Computer Science (Information Systems)

I was wondering what the major difference between these three courses and what the best is for someone who is interested in Software Engineering.

I will appreciate if someone can throw more light on the topic.

I'm a computer engineering student of OAU nd with ma 2 years experience in this field nd according to how it is done in OAU, the whole department is called "Computer Science & Engineering".
It is subdivided into 3 branches viz: computer engineering, computer science nd lastly computer economics.
Students in computer engineering are taking other engineering courses like electrical, mechanical, chemical, civil nd other engineering courses.
For computer science (or computer science & maths), apart from departmental courses, they're still offering courses from mathematics department nd statistics.
For computer economics, they offer economics nd accounting courses together with departmental courses.
Although they av nearly the same opportunities in labour market but computer engineers majorly deal with hardware (they still deal with software) nd they can still fit in to other engineering fields, computer scientists deal with softwares (including hardware). Lastly, computer economists deal in software (including hardware) nd they still have opportunities in financial institutions.
