Men, this is serious oh! 5 million dollars if Rwanda wins Angola. Hmm, bribery has entered into this issue. Nigerians with their bribery.

Won't this affect us if it gets to FIFA that Nigeria bribes Rwanda to win Angola so they would qualify for world cup?

Lets get it straight! It is the Angolans trying to use money to induce the Algerian and Rwandans players, so that they see to it that the Super eagles do not make it to the world cup. Not the other way round. Thank you wink

This how Nigeria make it to the world cup we have to make sure we play the match on the same day as angola, not sat but sunday. Mike Adenuga, Dangote , and others must offer the Kigali boys $5 million dollar if they beat Angola.

A suivre.

My French is broken at best, but the gist here is that the Angolans are accussing us of bribing the Algerians to throw their match!

Re: Nigeria Bribes Rwanda to Defeat Angola in World Cup Qualifiers? by Saintjoe(m): 8:21pm On Sep 12, 2005
Thats a big lie we never bribed Algeria we played a tough match with them and won, so the the Angolans can whaterver they want to say Nigerians!! don't bloody care. Afterall they also bribed Gabon to loose that match to them.
Below is the interpretation of the french chtax posted above:

Group "4" of the combined African eliminating heats CAN-World 2006: surprising Angola holds the high dragee with super the favourites, "Super Eagles Nigeriaérians by sharing the 1st place with their famous adversaries for the only ticket qualifier for Germany, being understood that for the race with the continental event of the same year having to be held in Cairo, three sesames are already acquired and should return to this tandem in company of Zimbabwe stuck well to take down the drinking cup. Angola, which laid out last Sunday on its ground in Luanda and in front of its supporters of Gabon on the score without call of 3-0, maintains intact and with its benefit suspense and makes doubt more than ever its most serious competitor, Nigeria yet not fixed on its fate and which must have patience until the end (the last day envisaged at the end of the first week of the next month) for finally blowing and avoiding disillusion, even if a victory would not be enough if Angolais, that a success in Rwanda will place on the royal way to sign (a historical first for local football) them in the universal gotha. Nigeria, which counts with its prize list several participations in go four-year universal round balloon and which must accomodate on the occasion Zimbabwe (one does not see how this last could thwart its plans, i.e. a success entered with the order of logic), could thus draw with white and see its hopes flying away definitively. On the sporting level, the situation thus far from being décan' is tée after the penultimate day which precisely saw Nigeria, with its stars, to come to give the lesson to the "Greens" with Oran and to preserve, at the moment when Angolais had easily with residence Gabonese, its chances not to miss the German voyage but would have, as well as its adversary of the day, Algeria, to explain itself on the serious charges carried in their opposition by the national trainer angolais, Oliveira de Gonçalves, which denounced in the press of its country why "the match enters Algeria and Nigeria [ 2-5 ] disputed Oliveira, which showed in the passing Nigeria "to have suborned players Gabonese by paying the plane tickets of the 12 players and the premiums of match so that they guarantee the victory of Gabon vis-a-vis in Angola, believes to detect a plot (in which it includes Algeria) to prevent its team (it will say that in spite of this stratagem she occupies the first equal place but with a better goal average) and remains optimistic as for its qualification for the World one, because she needs only one victory vis-a-vis in Rwanda to actually transform its dream while bringing back the single place of qualification of the group to the World 2006 of Will the FAF, via its president, remain without reaction which engages, beyond football, the image of all the country? A business which is likely to make waves. To follow.

See, get one thing straight...

We are legally entitled to offer Rwanda inducements to make them play well, but Angola aren't entitled to do otherwise because that would be match-fixing.

Remember, the Rwandans are at the bottom. So they have nothing at stake to loose. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Angolans must be stupid if they could say we bribed Algerians to loose to us. Who didn't see the battle b/w us and Algeria? If Algeria were out of the worldcup race, were they still out of African nations cup qualification. They fought there best because they wanted atleast to be enlisted among the countries for the African nations cup. Have they also forgotten that they bribed Algerians to win us in their own country? Make them go sit down.

Any thing nigerians do to qualify for world cup is not illegal so far as is not stopping the Algerians to play their own match. It is football politics. If we give Rwandans money, is not bribe, rather, incentive. You have to do certain things to encourage your aide or worker. Jesus demonstrated that during the talent-parable in the bible where he gave the coin that was withdrawn from the the foolish boy to the serious one that made out interest from his gift.

I foresee Rwandans winning the match because, they wouldn't want to rate themselves low before the world. Is going to be battle.

Lets watch out.

Let me say the mind of NFA officials and many Nigerians "No big deal if we have to bribe Rwanda, the Referee, CAF even FIFA, afterall Angola tried it with the Referee in the match against Nigeria, the most important thing is for Nigeria to qualify for the World Cup" There is nothing like fair play in football ooooo, it's a Winner takes it all. Am sure bribery and match-fixing is nothing new even in FIFA.
