I am not crying like I told Naija noni. Ghana played well, I wished Ghana was in the second round but they are not. I am however happy for my birth country and Germany, because I believe they are the best team.

We will be there in 2018 and we will do much better. We still have lots of young guys coming up.

I have to say safari is a die hard eagles fan win or loose. She also attacks other Nigerians that speak ill of the super eagles. The only thing I dislike about her is her hatred for all african teams. I can understand her not liking Ghana because of tension on nairaland or Cameroon nigeria's rival in soccer but she hates all african teams. Which is really a shame. I root for all african teams except Nigeria because of bragging rights.

As aforementioned in a previous post Criticising/Critiquing and Supporting are two very different things. If Brasil would have lost today to Chile, are you saying that the Brazilians who would say negative things are not supporting their team? Rubbish, total rubbish. If you don't critique, you won't see progress, those who do the best in this world are those who are realistic with themselves and critique themselves the most. There is no one in this world (not even my own father) who can critique me as much as myself. Just because I critique myself does that mean I am not supporting myself? No, I have never been one to settle for mediocrity and underachieving status. Some people like yourself love to give excuses when mediocrity comes to play. I do not. I absolutely refuse to ever settle for low standards. Whether that comes to politics, science, technology, mathematics, sports, whatever. People need to know how to critique and accept criticism.

Well y'all didn't say that going into the tournament. Y'all said Ghana was going to get trash by Portugal and Germany. But we held our own against both teams and I believe of it wasn't for the turmoil within the camp we would have beaten Portugal.

I said Nigeria group was easy and only thought Argentina was the hardest team in the group but I was wrong Argentina is one of the easiest team and Switzerland will beat them.

The mistake that is Nigeria will get kicked out. Fifa must correct the mistake

I can understand her hating Ghana and rooting against Ghana because of the rivalry we have on nairaland but what did Ivory Coast Cameroon and Algeria do to her. I rooted for all these teams except Nigeria but after some Nigerians showed Ghana support I also return the favor by rooting for them against Bosnia but as soon as nairaland returned, these began to insult Ghana. Nothing will make me more happy than to see Nigeria go out.

I have NEVER been against Algeria, I was more sure of that team than I was of even the Super Eagles.

That is football though and the harsh reality of it. The stronger team (Ghana was stronger than the United States), does not always win. Muntari could have done better this world cup, but what can I say. They gave it their best, they played well, but did not win the games that mattered. From the start, I predicted that they would beat overrated Portugal and the boastful Americans and then draw with powerful Germany. It did not come to pass sadly.

The difference between the nigerian match against USA is Nigeria didn't play that well. They were down by two and USA could have scored more. You only manage a penalty after most US starters went to the bench.

If you played like you played against Argentina, you wouldn't hear any one talk down on the super eagles.

Na d difference is one is a mere warm up match that means little,also played in the home of the americans(you wont expect the best of performances becos most of the players would play cautiously).

But d other is a very important world cup match that means alot.
