Debbychi: u should bear somethin in mind...both egm and mge combination are going for d same course,EXCEPT 4 SOME FEW COURSES ..d entrace exam questions are veri simple only if u av studied ur book wella..get past questions from diff angles both jamb past question and olevel inclusive..read ur economics well cos d question mite b trickish!! If u are veri good in math,i bet d math gonna b a work ova bt still study formulas sa....and for english,i remember moi questions were filled wit d oral aspect last year bt doesnt mean u should read only oral english ...and den i didnt do govt...Was An MGE student....any question?

basically wat she said... u read AND "understand" and "remember", take note of the smallest details dat is wat matters for example blood contains 55 percent fluid plasma and 45 percent cells etc.. those numbers matter dey can confuse and give in d options 45percent plasma and 55percent cells. One other important thing is prayer. in sch u mite see ur frnds goin 4 nite readn calld "crash nite" basically u mite crash d nxt morning, I neva one day did dat I came out with gud results, some did it got good grades others got nowhere, do wat is best 4 u, u will c alot of distractions, know u r dere 4 a limited period of time and u got to make the best of it and u will get tired towards d end, dis is wher many people will fall and dis is wher u got 2 b strong, and dere is competition, its gon feel like u rsurrounded by d smartest of the smartest students and u r gon wonda how d failedjamb or how they got there but dont feel intimidated, u r on ur own, dey r on deir own. bla bla bla yada yada. u wanna know the secret of their success,well,I'm gonna tell u about my failure so u'll learn to focus on what u re going to moro for...had 71% in my entrance exam,that aint hard cos I prepared well,and after that,I thought it was all gonna be easy,cos I av this kinda "sharp" brain,or so I thought...man,I rarely go to class but I always read,when others re in class,I'm always charging at the rotunda or even at a game point,and at the end of each week,I'll get notes from people and photocopy,then proceed to reading them...trust me,its bulls'hit...questions coming from ur exams might not all be from the notes...might be from what ur lecturer z saying,so endeavour not to miss a single minute of each class...and when u re reading,try to give urself a break...after the first contact,I made it above 60% and relaxed again...was feeling like a boss,u knw na...thinking I ve arrived,no one was there to tell me I'm going the wrong way,besides...I came to do the pd with a broken heart,my dad died 3 days to the entrance exam...but that apart,in the end...I almost made it but didn't...despite the fact that I always read all notes dictated in class,and I'll say I did my best,cos that was my style then...I had to change from reading to "learning",there z a big difference btw those two,u feel me? So man,focus on what u re going to pd for,there'll b lots of distractions,hostel mates,girls in power line,girls in private hostels wanting to distract you,trust me,y'all are going to moro for different things so u jst have to knw the reason why u re going....anyway,I ve jst been admitted to study philosophy with the likes of chiamaka01 and debbychi and others,u'll b fine...let my experience be ur teacher as theirs also lecture u...I rest my case

Oh,forgot to add...we were 12 in my room...self contain #3...in Adeniji hostel,and just 5 made it...barely,that's gonna sound as a reminder too...its every man for himself,teamwork works sometimes too,but be careful...jah bless

@docphil, there'll be lots of tutorials, when you guys resume. If you think you'll read better in a tutorial, by all means, go for it. But, the disadvantage to me, is that i don't cover much when i go for tutorials.

D recap of what pd is abt is d maxim dat says diff strokes 4 diff folks. Made 84.4% even with no greater dan 3 full days of lecture in 2nd contact. Missed quite a few towards d culmination of d 1st contact. My friend who had d highest in bcp(86.2) cud count with his fingers, d lectures he attended(stabbing more dan 90% ). It is not advisable tho, but it's much more advisable to do what works best 4 u.
