I know that the admission list will not be out until september, until after the portal for awaiting results is closed (August 15th). But a relkiable source made me understand that activities towards releasing the list will start tomorrow. My point is that you all should start calling whoever you know for admission processes. The fact that you have 100% does not guarantee admission (talking from experience).

Well, your jamb result is very ok. I can assure you of admission but i Can't assure you of finance because its very competitive in unilorin. Just keep raying and contact those you know that can also help with processes. All the best!

your score is fairly OK....but I'll advice you call your sources or persons you know for help.

To be blunt with you. You are qualified for admission but you are not qualified to study law with your post utme result.

Medicine? Very difficult but phisiology, anatomy, dentistry or any other medical related course is possible.....success to u

The official cutoff mark for Unilorin has been announced to
be 40 and above starting with education courses. please
note that medicine and mass communication carries the
highest cutoff marks.

I want you all to know that unilorin do not announce departmental courses. They only announce the general cutoff for post utme which is 50%. Although this does not mean that they don't use departmental cutoff but they don't announce it. Do not let anyone decieve you and do not pay money to anyone for admission unless you've gotten what you are looking for. Success to you all......

The information we had directly from unilorin Admission office says that the 2014/2015 first batch admission list will be out by second week of september. Also, some who had below 50% in their post utme and whose course is not a very competitive one will be considered for admission.

WHAT IS IJMBE
Every year, a vast multitude of admission seekers strive to gain admission into various tertiary institutions through utme/jamb. Its like trying more than on key in a single keyhole at a time! It is with this reason that a programme was design to serve the need of admission seekers. IJMBE is an acronym for Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination. The programme is the product of the initiative of Ahmadu Bello University. An accredited centre is here in ILORIN although the sit of administration and cordination is Zaria. The programme takes applicant into 200 level in any Nigerian private or public university that accepts it as a criteria for admission. During the programme you will be taught extensively, but only in three subjects. For example, if you wish to study medicine or biochemistry, then your subjects combination

is BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS.
The final result is calculated in points. The higher the

points, the better for you, that is:

Now, if a student going for medicine gets A in biology, B in physics, C in chemistry then his aggregates becomes

12 POINTS with the addition of 1 point if there is no F in the grades making a total of 13 POINTS
