Monday morning was a usualy day for crime fighting for inspector morris. But this time, things had a little twist:::

Inspector Morris: Dayo, have you loaded the guns?
Dayo: Yes sir, am loading the last one which is the silencer.
Inspector Morris: Good. Let's get going, you can load it in the Suv.

Inspector Morris was not just an inspector but a retired Major of the army and yes he had all the expirience.

When Dayo and inspector morris got to the crime scene, they hopped out of the suv and headed for the rest of the police team.

Morris: Officer, what's the briefing?
Officer 1: Sir, the culprit is inside that twin duplex and we have information that there is a tied up hostage with him.
Morris: Alright, since the area is secured, I would go on with the next procedure.

Morris grabbed a megaphone:
Morris: We know You are in there. You are completely surrounded. Come out with your hands in the air or we will be forced to come in.

Meanwhile.....in the twin duplex belonging to the tied up hostage, the culprit simply known as Jongu listened to what inspector morris said through the megaphone. The voice of Inspector morris sent cold shivers down the spine of Jongu because he knew he always caught robbers no matter how armed they were.

Jongu: [speaking with fear] Kai, the stupid man don come again. Na so so spoil spoil he sabi do.

When The hostage heard the voice of inspector morris, he murmored so much because he knew jongu couldn't escape.

Jongu looked back at the hostage tied up at the corner of the room, walked to him and dealt him a dirty slap!

Jongu: [Gbooooolar] If you make any noise there again, i would put a bullet in your brain.

The hostage maintained silence when he heard jongu talk about bullets.

Jongu head for the window again and stared at the team and inspector morris at a glance.

Morris finised the announcement and yet there was no response.

Suddenly, the back door of the building broke open and and some men were rushing in with Ak-47 riffles fore fronted by inspector morris.

Jongu immediately ran to the railings of the stair case just to realise his biggest night mare coming for him.

Jongu: Chineke! How did he get here so fast?
Jongu grabbed the hostage with so much strength and pointed the gun at him, backing the window.

Inspector morris could now see jongu; eyeball to eyeball with the low life that of a criminal.

Morris: So we meet. You are pitiful. I can simply tell how you will go down. Before.....

Suddenly jongu fired two shots at morris.

Morris with his agility, swiftly docked the bullets and tumbled to a corner. Other police men fled and left morris to fight alone.

Jongu hit the hostage in the mid gut section and the hostage went down unconscious.

Then jongu started firing repeated shots at morris but none hit him. As morris was about to fire.....

Morris:[cursing under his breath] Damn, this boy did not load this gun. There's only one way out.

While jongu was firing sporadically, he wondered how morris even entered the compound without him noticing....
