on a normal day i wuldnt want to visit aba despite being my pride as result of being born or bred in the popular and there is sense of pride u get whenever u identify urselff as "nwa aba" in the mix of people; this is emanating from some facts ranging from the rugged, smart, and talented nature of a typical aba breed. this was made manifest in the song released by ruff coin which he titled "nwa aba" which dominated the nation's airwaves for a reasonable period. apart from this abaa has a been noted for her ingenuity and long history like the aba women's riot. so all this things help in adding to the pride of umu aba, hardly will u see a typical aba boy denying his aba blood or link or ever run away from the city for no major reeason cos all along we've been thinking that we've seen the worst of it all especially in that era when criminality reined in the city, we thought it was the height of rudderless society and since we were able to cope we can never see any other travail that could make us quench. but, no thanks to the current administration that has just made us realise that truly when we were thinking that we've come to the height of maladministration we were really living like kings. they say without seeing the worst u can never appreciate the bad. when orji uzor was doing some roads in aba we were busy taking him as the worst thing that has happened to abia state cos then we claimed that those roads were of low quality and we were yearning for better roads and projects, today, we are no longer begging for roads rather we are crying out to the adamant goveror to help us import and subsidise the prize of boats to help ease trnsportation in the swams of the town but he would rather spend the money in engaging his predecessor in a media cum political battle.
that was the state of things the last time i went to aba to spend my holidays with my parents and pals, at the park on the day of my exit i swore never to set my foot on the state again until the man at the helm of affairs leaves office but due to this bond i have with my place of birth i decided to rescind my decision, on hearing the outburst by arthur eze i was pulled back again to my decision but persuasion from my sick mum made me visit aba again. gosh, on getting to the town i found out that what arthur saw was beyond what he said. the people are no longer begging for boats cos the swams have germinated grasses and other plants on the roads of aba, so the aba people are asking for tractors as a means of transportation.
poor arthur eze was busy crying out to the elders of abia state without knowing that the elders are busy dying their hairs and brains.
in the light of arthue eze's outburst the landlord of abia in his decptive manner tried to confuse the world with lies that the bad roads in abia are federal roads, but the funny thing is that i'm yet to see any good road in abia state especially the aba that i stay in, so should we say that all the roads in aba are federal roads which in broader perspective makes abia a federal state?
i once joined the bandwagon of people crying that gej would commit the worst crime against humanity if he ever adorns the ochendo of our state with any award but on a deeper thought i found out that gej might be awarding the man for breaking the record of being the first human being on earth to live without any paucity of conscience and shame; doesn't it deserve a nobel award?
the worst thing that could happen to sinners is God handing over the administration of hell to the man called ochendo; sincerely, lucifer can never be as wicked as ochendo. i know God will be wondering by now whether ochendo is really one of his creatures. but in all things we keep on hoping that one the travvails will be over and we will have a story to tell

I had cause to pass the main gate of Ariaria last Saturday. There was NO entrance to the INTERNATIONAL market! I was in hurry, so I didn't take pics. I had to turn back and take a much longer route to where I wanted to go.
There is no government presence in Aba!

Why are the Abians complaining? They should continue with their PDP na. My advice to Nigerian youths is this; come 2015, the youths should vote for whoever that will improve their well being whether that person is in PDP, APC, APGA, PPA etc. because there is no way an Hausa, Yoruba, Tiv, ogoni, Fulani man etc will come and governor a state he is not from.
